The Bergoglians are proponents of Naturalism (reread the supposedly innocuous Laudato Si, if you need to be convinced). Of course they would wash their hands of determining whether or not something is of supernatural origin, and attempt to deprive legitimate ecclesial figures of the authority to do so, either; their worldview precludes the possibility, a priori. Naturalism in the theological realm is better known as Arianism.

After reading Rome’s pronouncement, I’ve had the strong feeling that this is in some way tied to coming appearances of aliens (demons) and getting the world to believe in them. and to follow them.
