St. Kolbe: "The purpose of the Knights is contained in these words: to do all you can for the conversion of sinners, heretics, schismatics... above all the Masons, & for the sanctification of all persons under the sponsorship of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Immaculate Mediatrix"

A member of the Knight of the Immaculata (MI) wrote in The Catholic Monitor:   "It is not enough to comment, however incisively, on the latest Bergoglian [Francis] outrage. We have to "Aim Higher," making our goal the goal of the MI itself."  [ "Aim Higher!: Spiritual and Marian reflections of St. Maximilian Kolbe ," Paperback -  https://www.amazon.com/Aim-higher-Spiritual-reflections-Maximilian/dp/0913382590 ] "There is no other way." St. Kolbe, in 1938, explained what this way is :   The purpose of the Knights is contained in these words: to do all you can for the conversion of sinners, heretics, schismatics and so on, above all the Masons, and for the sanctification of all persons under the sponsorship of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Immaculate  Mediatrix . Trump admin partners with Big Tech companies for massive digital health database The Trump administration says its new 'digital health ecosystem' will be entirely opt-in, but the Big Tech companies involved still have many Americans worried.

Trump admin partners with Big Tech companies for massive digital health database Pray an Our Father now for reparation for the sins committed because of Francis’s Amoris Laetitia and  for the restoration of the Church. Stop for a moment of silence, ask Jesus Christ what He wants you to do now and next. In this silence remember God, Father, Son and Holy Ghost – Three Divine Persons yet One God, has an ordered universe where you can know truth and falsehood as well as never forget that He wants you to have eternal happiness with Him as his son or daughter by grace. Make this a practice. By doing this you are doing more good than reading anything here or anywhere else on the Internet. Conclave Notes: Has the Trad Media fallen into a COVID-like mass formation with Leo XVI? While it's humorous to see the former anti-Francis Trad pundits suddenly acting like teen age girls infatuated with Leo, it could lead to a Trojan Horse effect It appears that a group of Bishops or Cardinals needs to...

"Lonergan was aware of the imputation that Newman was a nominalist.. '...he defends Newman...imputation of nominalism may be thus explained away, especially as Newman was not a professional philosopher...'(65) How then to understand Lonergan's early claim of nominalism?"

Lonergan was aware of the imputation that Newman was a nominalist, and ironically in the light of his own self-definition, in "True Judgment and Science" he defends Newman from that attribution. That the distinction between notional and real apprehension has a foundation in fact is beyond doubt...It seems... to be one of degree and not coincident with the scholastic distinction of intellectual and possible apprehension inasmuch as its differentiae are quantity of content, direction of attention, and the presence or absences of a sense of reality or value. I am not aware of the impossibility [of] a distinction being made upon such grounds between different apprehensions of the same object. The imputation of nominalism may be thus explained away, especially as Newman was not a professional philosopher and intellectual apprehensions are a theory and not an experience.  (65) How then to understand Lonergan's early claim of nominalism? "Newman possessed a copy of one of Joseph Kleutgen's works, La Philosophie Scholastique..marked...noted: 'Formalism inconceivably absurd to the modern mind; i.e. Occam. Nominalism highly plausible.'" (64)

Newman possessed a copy of one of Joseph Kleutgen's works,  La Philosophie Scholastique  and he had marked the first volume at a section noting the two extremes in solving the problem of universal concepts and had noted: "Formalism inconceivably absurd to the modern mind; i.e. Occam. Nominalism highly plausible."  (64)   64.  Cf. Edward Sillem,  The Philosophical Notebook of John Henry Newman I , 240. Cf. also  The Theological Papers of John Henry Newman on Faith and Certainty , 56: "A very difficult question arises whether the subject of ideas comes directly into the province of Logic. Or, in other words, whether names of terms stand for ideas or for things. It will be said that ideas and things go together, and therefore the question is unimportant - but there is the case in which there is, or is imagined, an idea without a thing, that is, the case of Universals - Accordingly those then on the side of Things against Ideas, say that there are  no...

Mary is "Miss Grace" that is the Full of Grace who is the Immaculate Conception vs. Did Leo's beloved Francis Implicitly Deny the Immaculate Conception?

Christopher Hale @chrisjollyhale For the third time in his pontificate, Pope Leo says Pope Francis is in heaven. This has been a source of frustration for some radical traditionalists. Quote Pope Leo XIV @Pontifex · May 21 Today, in a special way, we remember our beloved #PopeFrancis with deep gratitude, who exactly one month ago returned to the Father’s house. He accompanies us and prays for the Church from Heaven. @Pontifex266Arch 5:52 AM · May 21, 2025 · 74.3K Views Immaculate Conception: Pope Francis cancels public act of ...
