The Real Agenda of Saturday Night Life's “Humor”

C. S. Lewis in "The Screwtape Letters" describes the real agenda of Saturday Night Life's “humor.” In Lewis' book his character, an senior evil spirit says: But Flippancy is the best of all. In the first place it is very economical. Only a clever human can make a real Joke about virtue, or indeed about anything else; any of them can be trained to talk as if virtue were funny. Among flippant people the Joke is always assumed to have been made. No one actually makes it; but every serious subject is discussed in a manner which implies that they have already found a ridiculous side to it. If prolonged, the habit of Flippancy builds up around a man the finest armour-plating against the Enemy [God] that I know, and it is quite free from the dangers inherent in the other sources of laughter. It is a thousand miles away from joy; it deadens, instead of sharpening, the intellect; and it excites no affection between those who practice it.

Hypocrisy: Franken/Moore Double Standard is Example of Media & Politicians Rape of American Public's Mind

-Updated November 16, 2017- In their hypocrisy, the media and Washington elite after liberal Al Franken's proven sexual assault do not politely ask him to step down, but conservative Roy Moore because of unproven allegations is commanded to step down. (It seems that Moore may have committed legal odd acts, that is date woman under age 18, but so far the only solid evidence of sexual misconduct, the signed yearbook, appears to be a fabrication.) The elite's hypocrisy and rape of the American public's mind began a long time ago before the Moore/Franken double standard. Below is a example of how creepy Franken has been raping the American public's mind for a long time with his sleazy "humor." “[Radio host Al] Franken also imitated a priest giving Communion, saying "Body of Christ" when an imagined pedophile priest was in line but "not for you" when pro-choice politicians came up,” according to Michael Goodwin of the New York Daily N

"Not-So-Latent Racism in Our [Gay] Movement"

-It was like being at a klan rally except the klansmen were wearing Abercrombie polos and Birkenstocks. YOU NIGGER, one man shouted at men. If your people want to call me a FAGGOT, I will call you a nigger. http://pandagon.net/index.php/site/comments/the_n_bomb_is_dropped_on_black_passersby_at_prop_8_protests/ The N-bomb is dropped on black passersby at Prop 8 protests • LGBT • Race • Religion UPDATE: the openly gay president of People for the American Way, Kathryn Kolbert, has released a statement. It’s below the fold. You could see this coming, and this is what I’m talking about when you ignore the elephant in the room. Rod McCullom of Rod 2.0 blogs reports on the escalation of the “blame the blacks” meme that has been swirling about the blogosphere and the MSM. A number of Rod 2.0 and Jasmyne Cannick readers report being subjected to taunts, threats and racist abuse at last night’s marriage equality rally in Los Angeles. Geoffrey, a student at UCLA and regular Rod 2.0 reader, joined

Did Prop. 8 Show Gay Leaders are Racist?

http://jameshartlinereport.blogspot.com/2008/11/racism-bigotry-are-big-components-of.html Racism & Bigotry Are Big Components of Gay Leaders Fighting Prop. 8 The Hypocrites Are Finally Showing All Of Their True Rainbow Colors, except the black color, that is. Of all the many benefits that are now coming out of the passage of Prop. 8, there is one that is more gratifying then most: Gay activist leaders are finally letting their guard down so that their well-hidden and hideous racism and bigotry is finally starting to leak out. I always knew it was there. Before I finally left the homosexual lifestyle for good nearly ten years ago, I was a long time witness to the grave racism that drives most white-dominated gay communities. I can recall many, many gay bars that went out of their way to make black men uncomfortable and unwanted. I have seen many black men who have been cast to the curb when seeking to have their say at the table of community and political discourse within elitist ho

Stay in Peace in God's Presence

It is now the hour to stay in peace in God's presence. We must pray and do penance (big or little). The Father, Son and Holy Spirit is in control. I'll most likely be closing all my blogs except the Catholic Monitor. God is our refuge and we all must be and get closer to Him in this hour. Fred

O'Brien: Obama "[U]shering in the Time of Great Trial for the Church"

-I also believe that he is a carrier of a deadly moral virus, indeed a kind of anti-apostle spreading concepts and agendas that are not only anti-Christ but anti-human as well. In this sense he is of the spirit of Antichrist (perhaps without knowing it), and probably is one of several key figures in the world who (knowingly or unknowingly) will be instrumental in ushering in the time of great trial for the Church under its last and worst persecution, amidst the numerous other tribulations prophesied in the books of Daniel and Revelation, and letters of St Paul, St. John, and St. Peter. Barack Obama's Abortion Position Could Result in Closing Catholic Hospitals

http://www.lifenews.com/nat4527.html Barack Obama's Abortion Position Could Result in Closing Catholic Hospitals by Steven Ertelt LifeNews.com Editor November 2, 2008 Email RSS Printer Washington, DC (LifeNews.com) -- Barack Obama told Planned Parenthood in July 2007 that the first piece of legislation he would sign would be the so-called Freedom of Choice Act, a bill that would overturn pro-life laws nationwide. One little-discussed aspect of the ramifications of the bill could see the closing of Catholic hospitals. The FOCA bill has been a priority of abortion advocacy groups since the Clinton administration, when pro-life advocates were successful in fending it off. Given the prospects of a White House and Congress controlled by abortion advocates, the potential for resurrecting the bill has caused considerable concern within pro-life circles. Both sides of the abortion debate readily admit the measure makes unlimited abortions throughout pregnancy a national law and legal r
