Unfortunately, they read articles or watch newscasts like, “ Pope Leo denounces what he calls ‘scourge’ of sexual abuse by Catholic clergy ,” and they are misled into believing that Leo truly cares for abuse victims. Abuse advocates like myself who receive multiple reports of abuse cover-ups by Leo and countless bishops know better than to believe what is nothing more than “Fake News.”... ...
