Thune and Cornyn are Trump haters who undermined President Trump’s agenda his entire first term. John Cornyn even said Trump couldn’t win the Presidency in 2024 and Thune endorsed Tim Scott over Trump in the 2024 Presidential Primary. The only TRUMP LOYALIST running for Senate GOP leader is Senator Rick Scott. Mitch McConnell fast tracked this Senate GOP election in violation of Senate GOP bylaws as a way to undermine Trump. He’s also pushing for it to be a secret ballot so nobody knows who their senators voted for.
