I've read a conclusion from the definition of apostasy as an abdicated and resolute resignation of divine grace. If someone asserts that there is no human solution that requires faith, then that person denies divine grace by saying that there is no human solution that requires faith. Because it only creates confusion for others because that someone is in sin to divine grace by confessing that he has no faith, but wants to show something that he does not have. And this sin is serious because it goes against facts that reveal the truth. And among the six sins against the Holy Spirit, the third example demonstrates this.
