Francis Sucker Punched Me in the Gut Tonight...

... Trads aren’t perfect, but per the saying, don’t let the perfect get in the way of the good.  But according to the man believed to be sitting on the Chair of St. Peter, in his airplane interview coming back from Canada actively participating sacrilegiously in pagan rituals, we are NOT good.

He says Catholics “who call themselves traditional,” who cling to the past, are not following God.  We are “rootless.”

This dude has sucker punched me/us so many times since 2013 with his anti-traditionalist vitriol that I’ve literally had nightmares of this man showing up in my living room to spiritually shame rape me for hating ecclesial modernism, and instead upholding Catholic Tradition...

... So bring it on Modernist Bergoglio.  You sucker punch me in my stomach, I endure some GI discomfort, and have a few neurons traumatized, but whatever, all will be restored in the Resurrection, so bring it on.

There is no way in hell you are practically speaking a Catholic in public good standing, who should be taken seriously with personal respect.

So fine, IF it is the Traditional Catholic who will restore the Church upward until one day we have a good pope restoring it downward, the more the modernists in authority gas light us, and the more we offer it up as our Cross, the closer we all get to "restoring all things to Christ.”

Bergoglio wants to torture me for being a "Catholic who calls themselves traditional,” (you know, like Pope St. Pius X)?  Bring it on.  You can torture me to death, like Torquemada, I will always reject your Lies, and uphold the Truth. Because every Catholic is obliged to reject Lies, and uphold Truth.  Praise be to Jesus Christ. [http://okietraditionalist.blogspot.com/2022/07/francis-punched-me-in-gut-tonight.html]

Does Francis need to apologize to Trads for "spiritually shame rap[ing]" them?

Pray an Our Father now for reparation for the sins committed because of Francis's Amoris Laetitia.

Pray an Our Father now for the restoration of the Church as well as the Triumph of the Kingdom of the Sacred Heart and the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

Stop for a moment of silence, ask Jesus Christ what He wants you to do now and next. In this silence remember God, Father, Son and Holy Ghost - Three Divine Persons yet One God, has an ordered universe where you can know truth and falsehood as well as never forget that He wants you to have eternal happiness with Him as his son or daughter by grace. Make this a practice. By doing this you are doing more good than reading anything here or anywhere else on the Internet.

Francis Notes:

- Doctor of the Church St. Francis de Sales totally confirmed beyond any doubt the possibility of a heretical pope and what must be done by the Church in such a situation:

"[T]he Pope... WHEN he is EXPLICITLY a heretic, he falls ipso facto from his dignity and out of the Church, and the Church MUST either deprive him, or, as some say, declare him deprived, of his Apostolic See."
(The Catholic Controversy, by St. Francis de Sales, Pages 305-306)

Saint Robert Bellarmine, also, said "the Pope heretic is not deposed ipso facto, but must be declared deposed by the Church."

How much will Trad Inc keep gaslighting us for having serious doubts about this man? They seem more scared of saying “We were wrong” than having Jesus judge them for misleading their fans.

You're barking up the wrong tree T. Benedict is far more dangerous than Bergoglio. Benedict is the proverbial wolf in sheep's clothing (much harder to recognize) than Bergoglio whose in-your-face blasphemies and heresies hardly allows him to be a wolf in sheep's clothing, but an out and out recognizable wolf.

Very interesting, Trad Inc and Sedes don't like Fr. Kramer and agree on a lot of stuff:

Kramer's book "On the True and the False Pope: The Case against Bergoglio" on what Kramer believes is Salza's position on Pope Benedict XVI and Francis:

"Salza... deliberately mak[es] it appear that he is accusing... Pope Benedict of the dolus of formal heresy while exonerating the heretic Bergoglio." (Page 326)

BUT—unlike what some Sedevacantists teach—the loss of faith does not, in and of itself, sever a man from the body of the Church. A mortal sin against faith does not, in and of itself, sever a man from the body of the Church. And if the man who loses the faith happens to be pope, he does not thereby lose his office. This is a crucial point that is often missed by even the most learned defenders of the Sedevacantists’ position. Formal heresy in the internal forum only severs a man from the soul of the Church. It requires formal heresy in the external forum to sever a man from the body of the Church, and formal heresy in the external forum is declared heresy by the proper authorities—i.e. a Church Council. - Catholic pundit Jonathan Ekene Ifeanyi's article "Why does Father Paul Kramer still maintain that Francis is not the true pope?" - The Catholic Monitor [https://www.thecatholicmonitor.com/2022/07/could-it-be-mortal-sin-to-claim-that.html?showComment=1659120909146#c517]

Which heretical statements has he made after becoming pope that contradict dogma? Being really unorthodox is not the same as contradicting dogma. When did it become apparent that he had no papal protection from the Spirit? All I know is that his reported heresies were taken out of context.

An entire litany of heresies from before and during his papacy can be found at this link. Also, since he was a known heretic before being elected, that too makes him ineligible to become pope.

Read the Father Paul Kramer book which explains the problems with Sedes and Trad Inc idea's on "the Catholic doctrine on papal heresy in a compressed form, with new material and arguments explaining points which were only touched upon in the first volume, such as the essential distinction between episcopal and papal authority, so as to make the Church’s doctrine on the question of papal heresy more easily and clearly understandable":

On the True and the False Pope Volume II
by Father Paul Kramer

To Deceive The Elect is a treatise on the Catholic doctrine on the question of a heretical Pope which examines and elaborates the Catholic teaching on Defection from the Faith and the Church, focusing primarily on Heresy, and Loss of Ecclesiastical Office; and it is presented in such a manner to clear up the widespread confusion and refute the most common errors on these points that are being propagated at the present time. The book refutes primarily the arguments of the legalist-fundamentalist propagandists of Conciliarism, who profess that a Church council possesses the authority to juridically pass judgment on a reigning Pontiff for the delict of heresy.

Father Paul Kramer is an Irish-American native of Bristol, Connecticut, USA, who studied philosophy and theology in Rome at the Pontifical University of St. Thomas Aquinas during the 1970s, and was ordained to the priesthood on April, 20, 1980 by Bishop Vittorio M. Costantini O.F.M. Conv. in the Cathedral of Sessa Aurunca (CA) Italy. Fr. Kramer served in parish ministry in Germany, Philippines, USA, and has carried out various missions in other countries, including Canada, Italy, Brazil, India, Ireland, Portugal, Spain, and England. Fr. Kramer is currently retired, and is living in Ireland. Fr. Kramer was a close collaborator with the world famous “Fatima Priest”, Fr. Nicholas Gruner from 1986 until the latter’s untimely death in April 2015; at whose request this book has been written, and to whose memory it is dedicated.

This volume examines the question of the validity or nullity of Jorge Bergoglio’s and Pope Benedict XVI's claims on the papacy, according to the same criteria as employed by St. Bernard of Clairvaux (canonical validity of election and orthodoxy in faith) in his examination of the claims of Innocent II and Anacletus II on the papacy. In this work I systematically present the case against Jorge Mario “Francis” Bergoglio, and prove that Benedict XVI is still the only legitimate claimant to the papal throne and sole holder of the Petrine munus at the present time.

This volume also presents a summary the main points of the Catholic doctrine on papal heresy in a compressed form, with new material and arguments explaining points which were only touched upon in the first volume, such as the essential distinction between episcopal and papal authority, so as to make the Church’s doctrine on the question of papal heresy more easily and clearly understandable.

Which proposition did he state that was heretical AFTER assuming office? Not just scandalous or unorthodox, but a proposition the Church condemned as heretical? One that cannot be explained away by context?
Debbie said…
On 1-20-10 he endorsed the "Neocutechumenal Way". The Way justifies Luther's revolt, promotes Luther's teaching on justification, rejects transubstantiation, rejects Trent.

In a letter dated 12-21-12 to Cardinals, bishops, priests and faithful he admits the goal of "dialogue" is NOT conversion.

In 2006 he commemorated the 20 year anniversary of Assisi.

He is a council man through and through who embraces and endorses false ecumenism, religious liberty and collegiality. ..all condemned by previous, actual Catholic popes. And his theology in these heresies are well established since before being elected pope, which he has never walked back.

The proofs are all there in the link I provided and it's also worth noting that the links within the link are NOT all sede sites. Some are SSPX, TIA...not sede at all.

It's strange how most trads believe VII is a horrible council containing error and heresy, yet believe the popes who promulgated it are valid. If VII and it's popes are valid, then Catholic dogma demands our submission to them. To do otherwise destroys the papacy. BiP is nothing more than keeping Catholics under the errors and heresies of VII.

"The Great Facade" is still where I think you should start on your question above and other questions with pages 12n, 39, 57, 58, etc.

Page 59 says sedes and neo-conservatives embrace the "same error. The Magisterium embraces whatever the Pope says." Unlike Francis the other Vatican II popes didn't do:

LifeSiteNews, "Confusion explodes as Pope Francis throws magisterial weight behind communion for adulterers," December 4, 2017:

The AAS guidelines explicitly allows "sexually active adulterous couples facing 'complex circumstances' to 'access the sacraments of Reconciliation and the Eucharist.'"

Also, "the Church MUST either deprive him, or, as some say, declare him deprived, of his Apostolic See." or we become Protestant-like:

"[T]he Pope... WHEN he is EXPLICITLY a heretic, he falls ipso facto from his dignity and out of the Church, and the Church MUST either deprive him, or, as some say, declare him deprived, of his Apostolic See."
(The Catholic Controversy, by St. Francis de Sales, Pages 305-306)

- On February 2018, in Rorate Caeli, Catholic theologian Dr. John Lamont:

"The AAS statement... establishes that Pope Francis in Amoris Laetitia has affirmed propositions that are heretical in the strict sense."

- On December 2, 2017, Bishop Rene Gracida:

"Francis' heterodoxy is now official. He has published his letter to the Argentina bishops in Acta Apostlica Series making those letters magisterial documents."

I, too, have a good friend who is a Sede, but I won't join him,for the above reasons , others and the infallible Vatican I:

Are you prepared to deny Vatican I?

Vatican I clearly teaches that popes will reign perpetually:

"[T]he true doctrine concerning the establishment, the perpetuity, and the nature of the apostolic primacy. In this primacy, all the efficacy and all the strength of the Church are placed. (Vatican I, Pastor Aeternus, chapter 1)" (UnamSanctumCatholicm.com, "False Principles of Sedevantism (Part 1)).

The renowned Catholic historian Carroll explicitly wrote:

"Papal election procedures are governed by the prescription of the last Pope who provided for them (that is, any Pope can change them, but they remain in effect until they are changed by a duly elected Pope)."

"During the first thousand years of the history of the Papacy the electors were the clergy of Rome (priests and deacons); during the second thousand years we have had the College of Cardinals."

"But each Pope, having unlimited sovereign power as head of the Church, can prescribe any method for the election of his successor(s) that he chooses. These methods must then be followed in the next election after the death of the Pope who prescribed it, and thereafter until they are changed. A Papal claimant not following these methods is also an Antipope."

Nothing is true belief if it is not an infallible definition.

Encyclicals, apostolic exhortations, synod documents council documents, apostolic constitutions - nothing - nothing at all is necessarily true becuase they are not infallible defined.

Bergoglio has never spoked to make a single ex cathedra defintion - so you can disagree with anything.

More official Church teaching:

It shall be lawful for each and all of the cardinals,...as well as for all the clergy and the Roman people,... to withdraw without penalty and at any time from obedience and loyalty to the person so elected even if he has been enthroned (while they themselves, notwithstanding this, remain fully committed to the faith of the Roman church and to obedience towards a future Roman pontiff entering office in accordance with the canons) and to avoid him as a magician, a heathen, a publican and a heresiarch."
Pope Julius II, Council of Lateran V. 1513
"Now when [the Pope] is explicitly a heretic, he falls ipso facto from his dignity and out of the Church, and the Church must either deprive him, or, as some say, declare him deprived, of his Apostolic See."
St. Francis de Sales, "The Catholic Controversy"
"...a pope who is a manifest heretic by that fact ceases to be pope and head, just as he by that fact ceases to be a Christian and a member of the body of the Church; wherefore he can be judged and punished by the Church. This is the judgment of all the early fathers, who teach that manifest heretics immediately lose all jurisdiction."
St. Robert Bellarmine, "On the Roman Pontiff"
"If God permitted a pope to be notoriously heretical and contumacious, he would then cease to be pope, and the Apostolic Chair would be vacant."
St. Alphonsus de Liguori, "The Truths of the Faith"
"An heretical pope necessarily ceases to be head of the Church, for by his heresy he is no longer a member thereof: in the event of his still claiming the Roman see a general council, improperly so-called because without the pope, could remove him. But this is not deposition, since by his own act he is no longer pope."
A Catholic Dictionary, 1951. Deposition
"The councils of Constance and Basle, and Gallican theologians, hold that a council may depose a pope...(2) /ob fidem/ (on account of his faith or rather want of faith, i.e. heresy). In point of fact however, heresy is the only legitimate ground. For a heretical pope has ceased to be a member of the Church, and cannot, therefore, be its head."
Catholic Encyclopedia, 1913. [Vol. IV p.435] Councils
In addition, [by this Our Constitution, which is to remain valid in perpetuity We enact, determine, decree and define] that if ever at any time it shall appear that any Bishop, even if he be acting as an Archbishop, Patriarch or Primate; or any Cardinal of the aforesaid Roman Church, or, as has already been mentioned, any legate, or even the Roman Pontiff, prior to his promotion or his elevation as Cardinal or Roman Pontiff, has deviated from the Catholic Faith or fallen into some heresy: (i) the promotion or elevation, even if it shall have been uncontested and by the unanimous assent of all the Cardinals, shall be null, void and worthless... "Cum ex Apostolatus Officio" Apostolic Constitution of Pope Paul IV, 1559

Hopefully this will finally lay to rest the false notions that 1) a pope cannot be a heretic, 2) a layperson commits sin in calling a pope a heretic, 3) popes are always owed obedience and cannot ever be criticized, and 4) anyone critical of a pope is guilty of "attack," "hatred," etc., or is liable to damnation.

Here is the thing. Scandalous as some things he did were, nothing he said met the strict technical definition of heresy. This is different from saying the death penalty is contrary to the gospel, which is heresy. I know this sounds like a mere technicality, but it matters. You can see a qualitative difference between Bergoglio and previous popes.

Which proposition implied by his words necessarily contradicted dogma? Pope Honorius, for example, was posthumously condemned not for being a heretic but for abetting heretics. But he is still a true pope and not an antipope.
