Italian Critic & Art Historian Cionci: "Bergoglio [Francis] caught in lies & coverup of Pedophile abuse in Argentina... Bergoglio has never officially responded to the charges"
Pope Francis attacked and stonewalled sex abuse victims while archbishop of Buenos Aires...
Above, Beatriz Varela; below, son Gabriel Ferrini. Varela said: “Bergoglio was aware of this situation [the sex-abuse of her son] because no one can be installed in the Vicar’s House without the authorization of the Archbishop... This is Bergoglio’s [Francis'] compromise: He speaks against cases of pedophilia in the Church, but uses hypocrisy, lies and complicity."
Today, the From Rome website published the authorized English translation of a Italian critic and art historian Andrea Cionci article titled "BREAKING: Bergoglio caught in lies & coverup of Pedophile abuse in Argentina." Cionci said that "Bergoglio has never officially responded to the charges" of his "lying and coverup of pedophile abuse in Argentina":
In 2018, the German state televistion channel ZDG broadcast a troubling documentary by Martin Boudat, entitled, “The Code of Silence”, which was never translated in any other language. Now, the YouTube Channel, Domina TV Multilingual has provided an Italian and English subtitled version which we have presented (here above).
The video affirms that Bergoglio, while Archbishop of Buenos Aires, not only totally ignored and refused to receive 7 persons abused by priests, but even promoted — by attempting to influence the judgement of the Argentine Court of Appeals — a powerful defense of the pedophile, priest, Fr. Julio Caesar Grassi (Biography, here in Spanish), who was condemend to 15 years in prison for abusing minors (boys and girls) who were 9-17 years of age. Grassi remains imprisoned in Argentina til this day.
Up until today, not withstanding the documentary and being petitioned, Bergoglio has never officially responded to the charges. Why does the Vatican Press Office not take charge of this matter, instead of arranging “visits and surprises”, as we demonstrated the other day regarding his visit to a CD shop. Did Francis remain
silent and lie (by his implication that accuses Vigano of causing
scandal) about Archbishop Carlo Maria Vigano's credible testimony
that he covered-up the sex abuse of ex-Cardinal Theodore McCarrick as he
was silent and lied about the sex abuse cover-up case of the
"now-infamous Father Julio César Grassi who has been imprisoned
for 15 years because of his abuse of children" when Francis was
then Argentine Archbishop Jorge Maria Bergoglio according to a German
documentary?
LifeSiteNews reports that the German national TV channel ZDF is currently running a documentary by Martin Boudot which is being aired now and "making the rounds in the German-speaking world called the 'The Silence of the Shepherds.'"
The documentary says six alleged victims of abuse all say that then-Archbishop Bergoglio was silent and "never answered their own specific complaints when they wrote to him as the archbishop of Buenos Aires." Journalist Maike Hickson wrote:
"When asked by the documentary journalists whether or not they ever
received an answer, they all shook their heads in the negative. Asked
about the above-quoted statement that Bergoglio never having a pedophile
priest in his diocese and whether he says here the truth, one abuse victim, a woman, answered: 'He [Francis/Bergoglio] wants people to believe that, but it is a lie.'”

Hickson below reveals that the documentary shows Francis lying about "a
counter-inquiry" he commissioned to cover-up for the priest predator.
She quotes the documentary saying “How can the Catholic Church retrieve
itself from these guilty silences?”:
"The documentary states that, Bergoglio, as Pope Francis 'never publicly
commented on the Grassi case.' The journalists themselves had tried for
eight months to obtain an interview with the pontiff on the subject,
but to no avail. Since they failed, the journalists stood in line at Saint Peter's during one of the papal audiences and were able to
call out to Pope Francis: 'Your Holiness! Your Holiness, in the Grassi
case, did you try to influence Argentine justice?' Pope Francis, making a
stunned face (caught on film here
in the documentary), replied 'No!' The journalists continued, saying:
'No? Then why did you commission a counter-inquiry?' The Pope responded,
with a similar face: 'I never did.' The documentary then asks: 'How can the Catholic Church retrieve itself from these guilty silences?'”

A better question is:
How can the Catholic Church retrieve itself from the Francis/Bergoglio guilty silences?
According to Journalist Hickson, the documentary says victims
believe Bergoglio “willfully tried to divert the course of justice” and
cover-up for a sex abusing priest:
"Reference was here made to Father Grassi. 'The Argentinian Church did
all in its power to have him acquitted,' explained the speaker. Juan
Pablo Gallego, the defense attorney of the abuse victims, pointed out
that the Argentine bishops in 2010 – after the first punitive sentence
was spoken about Grassi – had asked a penal law professor (Marcelo A.
Sancinetti) to conduct a study, which was compiled in a confidential
dossier for internal use, dealing with the Grassi case."
"This dossier, which was called 'Studies on the Grassi Case' and
contained 2,800 pages, came to the conclusion that 'the court was
wrong,' that Grassi was innocent and therefore should be acquitted. The
author also claimed that the abused children spread 'falsifications,
lies, deceit and invention.'”
"This study, as the documentary pointed out, was made on behalf of the
Argentine bishops under the leadership of Archbishop Jorge Bergoglio,
who was, at that time, also the President of the Argentine Bishops'
Conference (2005-2011). This information is written on the back cover of
the dossier. 'So the Pope,' the speaker in the documentary concluded,
'did then commission a counter-inquiry to try to have a priest who had
been sentenced for pedophilia acquitted.'”
“'And it is said,' the speaker in the documentary continued, 'that Jorge
Bergoglio, the future Pope, actually sent it to the judges, with a
shrewd sense of timing, before Father Grassi's various appeal hearings.'
Carlos Mahiques was one of these judges. In an interview for this
documentary, he made it clear that this study, as ordered by Bergoglio,
'is in some areas partial, and extremely partial in others,' and that is
why he, as judge, did not allow himself to be influenced by it."
“'It was clearly in favor of Father Grassi,' the judge said. 'They were
trying to exert a subtle form of pressure on the judges.” When asked
whether he thought the Church tried to influence the judges, Mahiques
replied: 'That's totally correct.'”
"In an interview in the documentary with one of the abuse victims of
Father Grassi, it becomes clear that Grassi claimed to stand under the
protection of Bergoglio."
“'Bergoglio never let go of my hand,' are the words as they are quoted
by the abuse victim who claimed to have heard them from Grassi himself.
The victim continued, saying that Bergoglio now 'is Pope Francis, but he
has never gone against Grassi’s words. So I’m certain that he never did
let go of Grassi’s hand!'"

The Silence of the Shepherds [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fPfAhznwbV0]
Remember that the art historian Cionci stated "Bergoglio has never officially responded to the charges" and then asked "Why does the Vatican Press Office not take charge of this matter,
instead of arranging “visits and surprises”, as we demonstrated the other day regarding his visit to a CD shop"?
Next question:
Why was Church Militant apparently afraid to use this headline: “The Pope [Francis] Covered Up Priest’s Abuse of My Son”?
On May 3, 2013, the digital newspaper based in Madrid, Spain called Público published an article with this headline “The Pope [Francis] Covered Up Priest’s Abuse of My Son.”
On August 4, 2018, on the same story, instead of the above headline,
Michael Voris' Church Militant in an apparent attempt to lessening the
gravity of the accusation against Francis used this headline "Mother Alleges Sex Abuse Cover-Up Under Cdl. Bergoglio."
Author Atila Sinke Guimarães, in the Tradition in Action blog, says that there was "probably" a media cover-up, "probably due to pressure from the Vatican,"
of Beatriz Varela's accusation that Francis was involved in a cover-up
of a "paedophile priest" who abused her son, Gabriel Ferrini, in 2002:
"Marco Tosatti from La Stampa in Turin, Italy, posted an article on his website Stilum Curiae
reporting the involvement of Pope Francis in a cover-up for a pedophile
priest in Buenos Aires when he was Archbishop of that city. The article
refreshed some little-known old data reported by the Spanish blog Publico. Soon after, however, Tossatti's article was removed from that site, probably due to pressure from the Vatican."
Again, Church Militant in an apparent attempt to lessening the
gravity and slant the article against the mother and her accusation
against Francis wrote the following on the mother's attempt to speak
with Francis:
"At around this time, Varela tried to plead with the inter-diocesan ecclesiastical court in Buenos Aires. Varela claims she was kicked out
of the waiting room by the court's president, Msgr. Jorge Rodé, who
insisted she should report the abuser to the diocese of Quilmes. A
priest in the waiting room offered to take her to the Metropolitan Curia
to try to speak to the archbishop of Buenos Aires, Cdl. Bergoglio. The cardinal's receptionist didn't give Varela an appointment because of her refusal to reveal the reason for the meeting. Varela still tried to leave Cdl. Bergoglio a note, but was then escorted out of the premises by security guards." [https://www.churchmilitant.com/news/article/mother-alleges-sex-abuse-cover-up-under-cdl.-bergoglio]
The Tradition in Action piece gave the mother of the victim's side.
Varela was employed in a diocesan school of Quilmes when the abuse took
place on August 15, 2002 so she knew who to contact to demand "justice"
for her son. Guimarães documents what happened after she found out her
son was abused:
""Since the Bishop delayed in punishing the priest, Beatriz
Varela tried to communicate with Archbishop Jorge Bergoglio. However, he
refused to receive her and ordered his bodyguards to prevent her from
entering his residence. Symptomatically, at the same time the
Archbishop of Buenos Aires was hosting the pedophile priest in a
comfortable residence under his jurisdiction..."
"... The mother of the victim also went to the Archdiocese, the
residence of Archbishop Jorge Bergoglio. He refused to receive her and
sent his security guards to expel her from the property. Soon
afterwards, she learned that Fr. Ruben Pardo was a guest at the Vicar’s
House in the Flores neighborhood, directly dependent on the Archbishop
of Buenos Aires. She observed: 'Bergoglio was aware of this
situation because no one can be installed in the Vicar’s House without
the authorization of the Archbishop.'”
Did Arch. Bergoglio not receive the mother of the sex-abuse victim?
According to the Tradition in Action article, Varela said:
“Bergoglio was aware of this situation [the sex-abuse of her son] because no one can be installed in the Vicar’s House without the authorization of the Archbishop... This
is Bergoglio’s compromise: He speaks against cases of pedophilia in the
Church, but uses hypocrisy, lies and complicity to cover them." [https://traditioninaction.org/bev/220bev06_29_2018.htm]
Whereas, the Church Militant piece only quotes her without the
accusation that Francis was "aware" of "this" sex-abuse "situation," and
without Verala saying he "speaks against cases of pedophilia in the
Church, but uses hypocrisy, lies and complicity to cover them." Here is
their only quote:
"Beatriz Varela resisted at first, saying she had "nothing to say" to
him, but then emotionally said to the camera, "This is a message to Pope
Francis: Do as you say you will do. Be sure to follow everything you
say with actions. If the Church is to have zero tolerance towards abuse,
all the priests you are aware of, whose names and addresses you know,
must be gathered up and put in jail now. ... Do what God wants, for all
of us.”
Church Militant's Voris knows, as all journalists know, that one can
slant an article or narrative by the selective use of quotes and using
the words "alleged" or "claims" in the descriptive paraphrase of a story
instead of using a direct quote.
That said, here are some questions that need answers:
Was "Tossatti's article... removed from that site,... due to pressure from the Vatican"?
Did Church Militant slant the story in favor of Francis and against the mother of the victim?
Was there was a media cover-up "probably due to pressure from the Vatican"?
Why was pro-Francis Opus Dei collaborator Church Militant apparently afraid to use this headline: “The Pope [Francis] Covered Up Priest’s Abuse of My Son”?
Church Militant called Bishop Bernard Fellay a "big liar" who "needs to
be expelled" for sex-abuse cover-up (which if true should happen), why
don't you, Mr. Voris, and your collaborators such as Tim Gordon, Patrick
Coffin and Steve Skojec call Francis a "big liar" who "needs to be
expelled"?
Don't Voris and his Opus Dei collaborators really care about the victims and are
they pedo-protectors when it comes to Francis cover-up victims?
Why don't Francis conservatives and Francis traditionalists support pedo exposure and removal of Francis?
Are Francis conservatives and Francis traditionalists in a mindless
obedience cult that must protect Francis from removal at all cost
despite his pedo-protecting of predators, his attempt to destroy the
Chinese underground Church and his promotion of the sacrileges of
Communion for adulterers as well as Pachamama pagan worship in the
Vatican?
Is this like Animal Farm where some victims are more equal than other victims?
Pray an Our Father now for reparation for the sins committed because of Francis's Amoris Laetitia.
