American Life League to Bishops: Enforce Canon Law, Deny Pelosi Holy Communion

Washington, DC (04 August 2008) – Judie Brown, president of American Life League, issued the following statement regarding Rep. Nancy Pelosi's frequent reception of the Holy Eucharist, as reported in the Aug. 4 issue of The Hill.

"Nancy Pelosi's sacrilegious public support of abortion has resulted in untold loss of life. We call on our Catholic bishops, our shepherds, to lead us in showing reverence for the Holy Eucharist – the Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity – of Jesus Christ, by enforcing Canon 915:

"Those who have been excommunicated or interdicted after the imposition or the declaration of a penalty as well as others who obstinately persist in manifest grave sin are not to be admitted to communion."

Rep. Pelosi and all pro-abortion politicians, who assist in the legalized slaughter of innocent children, should not be allowed to defile the Eucharist with bloodstained hands.

We especially ask Archbishop Donald Wuerl of Washington, D.C. and Archbishop George H. Niederauer of San Francisco to be true shepherds of their diocese and defenders of the faith by protecting the Holy Eucharist from those who seek to exploit it for political gain.

American Life League was cofounded in 1979 by Judie Brown. It is the largest grassroots Catholic pro-life organization in the United States and is committed to the protection of all innocent human beings from the moment of creation to natural death. 5 Dubia Questions for 1P5's Steve Skojec & All faithful Catholics especially Francis is definitely Pope Cardinals, Bishops & pundits

Here are five really short and easy to answer dubia questions which hopefully aren't too complicated for Steve Skojec, publisher of the One Peter Five website, to answer. To make it really easy for the publisher of One Peter Five it has been formatted so that he only has to answer: yes or no. 1. Doctor of the Church St. Francis de Sales said "The Pope... when he is explicitly a heretic... the Church must either deprive him or as some say declare him deprived of his Apostolic See." Was St. Francis de Sales a Sedevacantist or a Benevacantist? Answer: yes or no. 2. "Universal Acceptance" theologian John of St. Thomas said "This man in particular lawfully elected and accepted by the Church is the supreme pontiff." Was John of St. Thomas for saying "the supreme pontiff" must be BOTH "lawfully elected and accepted by the Church" a Sedevacantist or a Benevacantist? Answer: yes or no. 3. Do you think that a "supreme pontiff...
