Anathema: Francis's Amoris Laetitia and Argentine Letter by Infallible Doctrine of Council of Trent

Not only are Pope Francis's teachings condemned by Pope John Paul II, but they are anathema by the Council of Trent. Amoris Laetitia and Francis's letter which approves the Argentine norms as the only interpretation of that papal document is teaching false doctrine and condemned by the Council of Trent. Trent teaches defined infallible Catholic doctrine that can't be changed by papal prudential statement documents or letters. It was reported that after the papal letter Argentine Bishop Macin cited it as the order of the Pope to give Communion to 30 it appears unrepentant adulterous couples since no mention was made of them living as bother and sister. Again, Francis's teachings are not only directly counter to the encyclical of John Paul II, but condemned by the Council of Trent. Also, according to leading Catholic theologians including Dr. E. Christian Brugger, the Council of Trent appears to give this teachings of Pope Francis, and his intimate friend who w...

Does Fatima Controversy Disclose Francis' Vatican Press Office is Less Trusted than the Old USSR Pravda?

Why is Francis' Vatican Press Office less trusted than Pravda by many middle of the road faithful orthodox Catholics? Why the panic-attack denial from the Vatican Press Office just because the Fatima message supposedly said the apostasy in the Church will start at the very top? These comments comes from Fr. Z's blog which bends over backwards to be fair to Pope Francis, but does call a spade a spade. These commenters are generally intelligent and well read Catholics. They are not radical traditionalist. Fr. Z is very heavy handed in deleting Rad Trads as they are called. You'll find the same type of  comments by many middle of the road faithful orthodox Catholics on The Catholic Thing (TCT). One of the revealing comments on faithful Catholics distrust of the present man in St. Peter's office on TCT was something like don't worry, pray and don't listen to Pope Francis. Cornelius says: 22 May 2016 at 6:30 AM ...

Are Pope Francis' Teachings Not Based on Catholic Doctrine Founded on Divine Revelation?

Vatican expert Sandro Magister, on his Chiesa website May 19, allowed Fr. Giovanni Scalese, former professor of philosophy and rector at the Collegio alla Querce in Florence to explain Pope Francis thinking in the article " The four postulates of Pope Francis ." Magister's overviews of it says: "Scalese observes among other things that by virtue of these historicist, Hegelian-tinged postulates, Pope Francis continuously argues against the abstractness of “doctrine,” contrasting it with a “reality” to which one must adapt. As if forgetting that reality, if it is not illuminated, guided, ordered by a doctrine, 'risks turning into chaos.'” The article by former professor of philosophy says the postulates of Pope Francis’ thought are: "- time is greater than space; - unity prevails over conflict - realities are more important than ideas - the whole is greater than the part. "In 'Evangelii Gaudium' 221, Francis calls them “princip...

Will a Council Anathema Pope Francis as Pope Honorius I was by the Third Council of Constantinople in 680?

Amoris Laetitia in it's ambiguity parallels that of Pope Honorius I's document which was not issued in a manner of a dogmatic (ex cathedra) teaching. As Pope Francis did with ambiguity on Kasper's errors, Honorius allowed the Monothelitism heresy to confuse and spread by not clearly teaching Christ had both a divine will and a human will. The heretics taught Jesus has only one will, the divine will. Kasper's heresy teaches that those in adulterous second marriages who are committing mortal sin can commit the sacrilege of receiving Holy Communion. Honorius was anathematized by name along with the Monothelites by the Third Council of Constantinople in 680: "And with these we define that there shall be expelled from the holy Church of God and anathematized Honorius who was some time Pope of Old Rome, because of what we found written by him to [Patriarch] Sergius, that in all respects he followed his view and confirmed his impious doctri...

Are the Dubia Cardinals Sinning if they don't Correct Pope Francis?

-Update August 15, 2017- Are the Dubia Cardinals sinning if they don't correct Pope Francis? St. Thomas Aquinas in the Summa Theologiae said: "If the faith were endangered a subject ought to rebuke his prelate even publicly. Hence Paul, who was Peter's subject,  rebuked in public, on account of the imminent danger of scandal concerning faith." (Summa Theologiae II-IIae, 33,4,2) Ought means it is a moral obligation. Has Amoris Laetitia become a imminent danger of scandal concerning the faith? Cardinal Gerhard Muller's attempt to take control of the narrative of Amoris Laetitia without correcting Pope Francis has failed. Francis's firing of Muller is apparently saying he thinks he can change the Divine Law. Muller has said, over and over again, even a Pope could not change Divine Law by allowing those in adultery to receive Communion. The message of the firing appears to be: Those in adultery who are divorced and "remarried" can re...

Pope Francis' Vatican Blacks Out Cardinal Müller's Orthodox Narrative of Amoris Laetitia

At the Chiesa website on May 11, Vatican expert Sandro Magister showed that  Cardinal Gerhard L. Müller, former bishop of Regensburg, editor of Joseph Ratzinger’s opera omnia, and since 2012 prefect of the congregation for the doctrine of the faith was blacked out by Pope Francis' Vatican news establishment: "But the crucial element of the entire talk is its doctrinal and theological architecture. The cardinal says: '"The basic principle is that no one can truly desire a sacrament, that of the Eucharist, without also desiring to live in accord with the other sacraments, including that of marriage. [. . .] Changing the discipline on this concrete point, admitting a contradiction between the Eucharist and marriage, would necessarily mean changing the profession of faith of the Church, which teaches and realizes the harmony among all the sacraments, just as she has received it from Jesus. On this faith in indissoluble marriage, n...

Pope's Close Advisor Says Francis Probably Wouldn't be Reelected

On May 11, Maike Hickson at the onepeterfive website said on May 10, 2015, the Italian newspaper Corriere della Sera had published an interview with one of Pope Francis closest advisors Archbishop Victor Fernández.   Hickson in the article "On Exhortation, Müller Resists and Fernández Reveals" stated:      "In spite of his denial of a larger opposition against some of Pope Francis’ attempts to change the Church, Archbishop Fernández admits that, today, probably a Conclave would not re-elect Pope Francis. He said, when asked about a possible re-election: 'I don’t know, possibly not. But it happened.'  "Here we have it. The majority – and the majority of the public media! – are behind the pope. 'His opponents are weaker than what you think.' This is exactly what we are witnessing right now. Almost nobody reports on Cardinal Müller’s resistance."     Muller resistance was to take away the narrative of Amoris L...

Is Pope Francis Backing the Kasperites?

Both Fr Z and Pope Francis' chosen Special Secretary for the synods on marriage and family Archbishop Bruno Forte think that the Pope is backing the Kasperites. On May 3, the website Zonoalocale reported Forte quoting Francis saying: "If we speak explicitly about communion for the divorced and remarried you do not know the terrible mess we will make. So we won't speak plainly. In a way that the premises are there, then I will draw out the conclusions."(As reported on onepeterfive, translation from the Italian by Roberto Tommaso.) Fr Zuhlsdord on Apri 16 posted: "Pope Francis made it clear to everyone that he was backing the Kasper Proposal and Pope Francis knows how to use his absolute power!" In the "battle between the Kasperites and Catholics," Fr Z in the same post showed the ultimate battle: "The Trojan Horse " Forte "stealthily snuck into the Synod's Interim Report...of the 2014 Synod...was the moment when man...

Is Francis' Greatest Fear that Benedict Move Against Amoris Laetitia?

On May 6, the international Charlemagne Prize in Rome. The whole ceremony can be watched here . After the Rome Correspondent of the National Catholic Reporter , Joshua McElwee, tweeted out"that Pope Francis expresses a more open cordiality with Cardinal Kasper than with Cardinal Müller. Both of these cardinals sat in the first row close to the pope during the event." I'm glad to see Cardinal Muller sitting in the front row with Pope Francis. I think he got the message from Benedict's intimate friends Robert Spaemann and Muller that they were going to take control of the narrative of Amoris Laetitia not the German bishops. Francis is a politician. As Fr Z said he used ambiguity because he is afraid of schism, but wanted to see how far he can push the Kasperites agenda against the Catholics. We need to pray for Muller and Spaemann. They are in the eye of the storm or better still in a battle with the dragon. I suspect Benedict is behind the scenes on these...

Cardinal Müller States Pope Francis Can't and Didn't Change Divine Law on Divorced and Remarried Receiving Communion

ChurchMilitant.com on May 5, 2016 reported "Cardinal Gerhard Müller is saying 'Amoris Laetitia' (AL) does not say divorced and remarried can receive Holy Communion." Muller Said: "Without going into details, it is enough to point out that this footnote refers to objective situations of sin in general, not to the specific case of civilly remarried divorcees. The situation of the latter has peculiar features which distinguishes it from other situations. The footnote does not apply to the previous discipline. The standard of "Familiaris Consortio" 84 and " Sacramentum Caritatis" 29 and their application in all cases is still valid." The Cardinal put those on notice, even some close to the Pope, that they are misreading what the document did and can do. The report said the Cardinal added:  "At no point has Pope Francis called the arguments of his predecessors into question." Cardinal Müller reiterated  the key point to ...

Pope Benedict's Top Inner Circle Philosopher States Francis' Amoris Laetitia Needs to be Corrected

The foremost living Catholic philosopher Robert Spaemann, who belonged to Pope Benedict XVI's inner circle of thinkers, in an interview said:  Amoris Laetitia's paragraph 305, when read with its footnote 351, "directly contradicts paragraph 84 of John Paul II's letter Familiaris interview." On April 28, in this interview with the German Catholic News Agency, the philosopher stated: "Each individual cardinal,  as well as each bishop and each priest is called to preserve in his field of authority the Catholic Sacramental Order and to confess it publicly. If the Pope is not willing to make a correction, it is up to another pontificate to officially put things back into order.  The friend of Emeritus Pope Benedict  directly says Amoris Laetitia contradicts the continuous teachings of the Church.  Speamann, when asked if the Pope's document breaches the Church's traditional teachings, said: "It is clear to every thinking ...

Pray for Bishops as Francis' Amoris Laetitia is Crucifying Jesus, the Truth, Again

Jesus was sooooo tired of all this on the cross when He said: "My God, My God why have you forsaken me." As we hang on the cross with Jesus we can imitate Him in our deep worry for His Church and in all our sufferings. We trust the Father in the darkest darkness. Next, we join our suffering to Jesus crucified for all sinners especially ourselves. Finally, with our Savior who is Truth we speak the truth. Fr. John Hunwicke spoke it best: At the end of the Amoris laetitia press conference Cardinal Schoenborn was asked "whether there was anything in this new document which contradicted paragraph 84 of Familiares consortio. " Schoenborn" repudiated strongly" that there could be a contradiction and claimed Blessed Newman's doctrine development. According to Newman expert Hunwicke the Blessed's teaching is that "Catholic Doctrine had in the past developed while remaining true to type. " The Cardinal "by a neat conjurin...

Vatican Experts Say Vatican Marginalizing Anti-Amoris Laetitia Prelates

First they came for the Trade Unionist, and I did not speak out- Because I was not a Trade Unionist. Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out- Because I was not a Jew. Then they came for me- and there was no one to speak for me.(Niemoller) It seems the Pope may be overly attached and surrounded by certain persons with unhealthy thought processes and strange conspiracy ideas. The Vatican Insider usually a solid news source which has access to ranking Vatican insiders close to the Pope on October 19 wrote a tabloid like paranoid article. It slandered anyone remotely criticizing questionable prudential actions where Francis has no expertise or promise of being guided by the Holy Spirit and the non-infallible teachings of his which contradict the teaching of scripture and all previous popes as being in a global conspiracy with Russian strongman Putin against the Pope. Almost ironically, Phil Lawler, and his CatholicCulture.org, which defends Francis's teaching...

Vatican Insider Dr. Robert Moynihan Calls Pope Benedict XVI to Intervene on Synod

Dr. Robert Moynihan stated:   In the midst of the apparent confusion of the present Bishops' Synod on the Family...would it not perhaps be prudent to do...to ask Emeritus Pope Benedict XVI , who is still living in the Vatican Gardens, hidden from the world, and dedicated to daily prayer for the Church and for all souls in the world, at the end of those 24 hours, to offer his own words of guidance. Letter #44, 2015: Benedict in Prayer Dr. Robert Moynihan to you show details show image slideshow   October 15, 2015, Thursday — Benedict in Prayer   “ The Church has always been flawed and divided. Sinner and saints and surviving amongst them. Even Jesus knew it wouldn't be easy. It was never easy, even during His time. And having Pope Benedict spend his days praying for the Church consoles me. Unlike John Paul II is Pope Francis in a Bubble of Bad Advisers?

If Pope Francis continues to follow his narrow group of advisers he will need to reject objective reality also known as the law of non-contradiction at least if he keep listening to C. Casper.  According to Robert Royal of Catholic Things "Honduran Cardinal Maradiaga, head of Francis’ “G-8” governing body of cardinals"  appears to be getting the Pope into economic conspiracy theories. Royal observes that unlike Francis " John Paul II took the trouble to listen to people who actually knew something about economics and that’s why, even after his warnings about certain types of capitalism in Centesimus Annus [42], the following analysis [43-62] remains the best overall commentary on the complexities – and occasional paradoxes – of modern economies. Read that. If you do, you’ll hope Francis seeks out some new friends. He has sincere concern about the poor. He needs to hear from those who can show what’s demonstrably helped so many in need." Pray and fast...

Pray that Pope Benedict ask for Prayers for Pope Francis

Pope Francis needs our prayers so he will follow in the foot steps of Pope John Paul 2 and not follow advisers like C. Kasper who according to C. Burke (who I consider a new Padre Pio) are leading the Church to be a ship without a rudder.  Pray that Benedict ask for prayers for Francis.

If Pope Francis is a New Pope Paul 6 , What can we do?

It appears Pope Francis is following Pope Paul 6 in issuing true teaching, but creating an environment where the moral teaching is not followed.  What can we do that wasn't done in the 60's breakdown? Speak the objective truth and pray. Email everyone in your email list to pray for the Pope to teach the truth with mercy as Pope JP 2 did. Pray that Jesus remove all bad advisers and bring advisers like JP2 to advise him.  If you are reading this you are the one to start a prayer crusade for this Pope. Prayer for Pope Francis to follow in the foot steps of a future doctor of the church, Pope JP2, or at least be given the grace not to harm the Church as it was harmed by the 60's breakdown.  In JMJ,Fred Martinez The Synod by Steve Wood  October 2014, Volume 20, Number 6 Family Synod’s Lasting Harm to Catholic Men, Families, & Youth I can’t remember where I came across this riveting Civil War question, “Why didn’t the Civil War soldiers turn in...
