Is Francis' Greatest Fear that Benedict Move Against Amoris Laetitia?

On May 6, the international Charlemagne Prize in Rome. The whole ceremony can be watched here. After the Rome Correspondent of the National Catholic Reporter, Joshua McElwee, tweeted out"that Pope Francis expresses a more open cordiality with Cardinal Kasper than with Cardinal Müller. Both of these cardinals sat in the first row close to the pope during the event."

I'm glad to see Cardinal Muller sitting in the front row with Pope Francis.

I think he got the message from Benedict's intimate friends Robert Spaemann and Muller that they were going to take control of the narrative of Amoris Laetitia not the German bishops.
Francis is a politician.

As Fr Z said he used ambiguity because he is afraid of schism, but wanted to see how far he can push the Kasperites agenda against the Catholics.

We need to pray for Muller and Spaemann. They are in the eye of the storm or better still in a battle with the dragon.

I suspect Benedict is behind the scenes on these chess moves.

Francis' greatest fear is that Benedict directly moves against Amoris Laetitia.

We need to pray for Benedict, too.

By Mary's Secretary In my book The Practice of the Presence of Mary: To Live and Die with Mary , I dedicated Part II to Our Lady of Mount Carmel and Her scapular (fitting as Her feast is approaching), and I specifically mentioned how the scapular and spaghetti straps DO NOT go together. What I mean by that is I have noticed that those in the Church who DO NOT follow the Catholic dress code typically aren’t the ones wearing the scapular. I went on to say that modesty and the scapular go together and if you ever were immodest in dress, the scapular, being Our Lady’s sacramental that it is, gives one the grace to BECOME modest.
