Eric Sammons demonstrates, once again, his utter Peronism, not to mention gullibility, when it comes to the problem of Bergoglianism in general.
Peronism, because Sammons wants to have his cake and eat it, too; the same intellectual flyweight with the gall to tell Archbishop Vigano himself to "keep his mouth shut" now expects us to believe, only days later, his own pious and self-serving declaration that he does NOT, in fact, hold to the code of omerta apart from which the system of institutionalized abuse cannot (as Bergoglio would say) "go forward." Sammons ought to work for the DDF, contradicting its own (already entirely objectionable) documents in the blink of an eye.
Gullibility, because the loquacious lay opinion leader attempts to exonerate himself by insisting that, if a clerical sex abuse victim came to him for help, he would certainly encourage that person to seek out the proper civil and ecclesial authorities--a strategy about as sound and insightful as recommending that, say, a family of fleeing unwanted during the Second World War go straight to the Gestapo expecting sanctuary and justice.
Can Sammons actually remain unaware of the rampant corruption that goes by the name of "cover-up" afflicting the very authorities he so enthusiastically endorses? Has he ever listened to the original Taylor Marshall interview with James Grein, detailing not only the specifics of the degradation itself but also the lengths to which perpetrators will go to keep their own reputations from being damaged by their own actions? And if Sammons really doesn't get it to this remarkable extent, will the one who needs to keep his mouth shut please stand up?
There is good reason, evidently, that abuse victims don't turn to Eric Sammons, but to Archbishop Vigano instead. Let the same be said henceforth for people seeking authentically Catholic commentary on the crucial issues of our times, and not repurposed propaganda from the useful idiots of the Bergoglian regime.

Had Viganò’s detractors performed due diligence before publicly shutting down Viganò’s report, they would have discovered that Viganò is in fact not the first to accuse Francis of abusing seminarians. Just as a case is strengthened when additional witnesses can substantiate the allegation, so too is Viganò’s claim already corroborated by a separate report that Francis abused a Jesuit novice in Córdoba. In 2015, on the occasion of Francis’ visit to the United States, an Argentine Jesuit disclosed at dinner with two priests in Chicago that he had knowledge of allegations describing how Francis sodomized a novice positioned on a chair. Investigators who later contacted the Jesuit and the others present at that dinner confirmed the graphic details of the abuse allegation.
