Here is the answer from a POPE to all the Francis apologists who claim that a heretical pope can't be judged by the Church.
This is especially for Bishop Athanasius Schneider, Mark Shea as well as all his Patheos collaborators and all the assorted liberal to conservative to traditionalist Francis apologists.
Pope Innocent III (1198-1216) in "Si Papa":
"'Let no mortal being have the audacity to reprimand a Pope on account of faults, for he whose duty it is to judge all men cannot be judged by anybody, unless he should be called to the task of having deviated from the faith. (Si Papa)'"

How so "the path is the same and will remain the same until the coming of the next Roman Pontiff"?
What then about the time of St. Catharina of Siena and three "popes" at the same time?
Was the Dominican laywomen Catharina not the one who was eager to do anything what she could to make the bishops of that time very clear who IS and who is NOT a pope?
Secondly, if we, especially the bishops and cardinals, have been allowing for ten years some heretic and apostate usurper to beat and thrash the Mother Church and her multitude of weak children, and we do NOTHING, or at least not ENOUGH necessary to defend the Mother Church, - where do we get from the right to hope for "the next good, even legitimate Catholic-pontiff?!
