NCR's audience hears that EWTN's audience is hearing that (fill in the blank). So-called "progressive Catholicism" needs to encounter something besides itself; namely, reality. Supposedly, if EWTN reports something, that report is unreliable because EWTN has reported it. But if NCR reports something, no reporting--in NCR'sense of the term--has evidently taken place.

Is the Synod on Synodality turning into the Synod on homosexuality, or isn't it?
That is the question. And the only possible reason for answering in the negative is the entirely plausible contention that nothing can be considered as becoming that which it already was in the first place.
