The vital revelations in Schreckinger's book were almost completely ignored by the very same corporate media outlets that published the CIA's now-debunked lies. They just pretended it never happened. Grappling with it would have forced them to acknowledge a fact quite devastating to whatever remaining credibility they have: namely, that they all ratified and spread a coordinated disinformation campaign in order to elect Joe Biden and defeat Donald Trump. When the story first broke, a broad coalition comprising corporate
media, intelligence officials, and Big Tech companies interfered in the
2020 election by censoring and suppressing the story, claiming that it
was a Russian plot. Twitter first issued warnings regarding the Post’s story, and then suspended the account of the Post for running the story‚ along with those of reporters who were looking into the allegations. Facebook announced that
it would be limiting distribution of the story on its platform while it

Even NBC 15 News apparently unwittingly admitted there was media "disinformation meant to disrupt our electoral process" against President Donald Trump:
Journalists, Democrats, and anti-Trump commentators insisted the story about Hunter Biden’s laptop, which allegedly contained emails showing he was engaged in potentially illegal foreign business dealings, was Russian disinformation.
Major social media companies did the same, and blocked the story from their platforms for various lengths of time...
... In light of the NYT’s Wednesday night report, The National Desk (TND) reached out to NPR to ask if Samuel had any comment regarding his previous statement. TND wanted to know if he planned to retract his statement, apologize, or resign, but has not heard back. If a response is received, it will be added to this story.

Moreover, the liberal BBC seemingly admitted the anti-Trump foreign state USA election collusion possibility in the article "Why Ukraine has become ensnared in US collusion claims":

President Trump's personal lawyer, Rudy Giuliani, has repeatedly called on Ukraine to investigate claims of collusion in favour of Hillary Clinton and he has been in regular contact with the prosecutor general, Yuriy Lutsenko.
Now Mr Lutsenko has breathed new life into the story, announcing a new investigation, and citing a court ruling that Ukrainians unlawfully interfered in the 2016 election.
Mr Giuliani also wants Kiev to look into claims that former Vice-President and 2020 Democrat contender Joe Biden may have got Ukraine's then top prosecutor fired to help his son's business interests.
