I have been really confused by the phalanx of opinion that includes erstwhile Catholic "Trads" in favor of who to me should be the obvious enemy, but to them seems the obvious choice for commitment to defense up to and including total war - WW III. I simply don't get it. Why?! What is it about the Ukraine corruptocracy and its wicked and strange President that would compel me to be willing to take up their cause? No one can say. "Putin bad" is the best I can get. "Protect the children", of course, another emotive favorite.

I share this here because I think it is the key to understanding the Ukraine - Russia conflict and why the U.S. is taking Ukraine's side. I have never understood ... what is so great about Ukraine, that we are supposed to risk WW III on behalf of this corruptocracy and its strange, wicked, pervert President?
