Newt Gingrich, who was the House speaker from 1995 to 1999, stated that Nancy Pelosi "failed" in her "Speaker’s responsibility to oversee the protection and defense of the Capitol."
Even more importantly, the former Speaker Gingrich said, "Ray Epps, who was a suspected ringleader of the [Jan. 6] attack but has never been arrested. Some are suggesting he was an FBI Asset... House Republicans held a telephone press conference outlining the unanswered questions... [by Joe Biden/Pelosi] Democrats... [who] block information that was unfavorable to them":
Serious unanswered questions about who was doing and saying what could embarrass Democrat allies and make them co-conspirators in accepting risks at the Capitol.
For starters, as a former Speaker, I know well that it is the Speaker’s responsibility to oversee the protection and defense of the Capitol. It is clear that Speaker Pelosi failed to do so—and it’s going to be deeply uncomfortable for Democrats to talk about that.
Further, House Republicans are beginning to ask about people such as Ray Epps, who was a suspected ringleader of the attack but has never been arrested. Some are suggesting he was an FBI asset (similar to the absurd case of the attempted kidnapping of Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer which was allegedly fostered and orchestrated by FBI agents). Attorney General Merrick Garland has, so far, refused to answer Rep. Thomas Massie’s question about FBI assets at the Capitol on Jan. 5 and Jan. 6.
House Republicans held a telephone press conference outlining the unanswered questions—and the Democrats’ efforts to block information that was unfavorable to them. Republican Conference Chair Elise Stefanik, and Reps. Jim Jordan, Rodney Davis and Jim Banks outlined what they were trying to learn—and how they were being stonewalled by the House Democrats and the Biden Justice Department. They also pledged to use their majority next year to get to the bottom of unanswered questions. You can listen to the whole press conference here. As Gingrich suggested, might the January 6 incident be similar to the possible FBI entrapment in the 'absurd case" of the so-called "kidnap" plot of Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer?

The Epoch Times in another article about a police beating of a woman at the January 6 incident who was "Struck Nearly 40 Times in 4 Minutes" it was found that she "is among the 625 cases listed on the U.S. Department of Justice’s Jan. 6 webpage, although the FBI says more than 700 people have been arrested." Might Ray Epps and the other 75 not listed have been FBI assets doing an "entrapment"?
Real Clear Politics asked where is the "suspected ringleader of the [Jan. 6] attack [who] has never been arrested" by the FBI:
"So where has Ray Epps been? According to photos from the 'Daily Mail,' it appears Epps has been relaxing on his ranch outside of Phoenix, Arizona. The 'Daily Mail' asked him if he had involvement with the FBI," Cain reported. "He answered by yelling at reporters to get off his property." The US Sun reported that the Joe Biden Democrats "block[ed] information that was unfavorable to them" about January 6 incident:
In a House oversight hearing on October 21, Attorney General Merrick Garland testified about the January 6 Capitol riots.
U.S. Rep. Thomas Massie of Kentucky questioned Garland about a video shown from the riots that appears to show Epps advocating for people to go into the Capitol.
The video was shown several times throughout Garland’s questioning, but he refused to respond.
“I'm not going to comment on an investigation that's ongoing," he said.
Massie posted a video of Garland testifying on Twitter and said, “I questioned Attorney General Garland about whether there were Federal Agents present on 1/6 and whether they agitated to go into the Capitol. Attorney-General Garland refused to answer.”
In the video that surfaced from the day before the Capitol riots, Epps is apparently heard saying, “We need to go into the Capitol.”
A spokesperson for Ray Epps did not respond to a request for comment in time for this article. [https://www.the-sun.com/news/3936657/who-is-ray-epps/]
Yesterday, ABC3 Wear-TV reported that "Congressman Matt Gaetz and Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene held a press conference Thursday analyzing videos of the Jan. 6 insurrection, claiming that the FBI assisted in the incitement of the Capitol breach":
Gaetz showcased a compilation of videos Thursday that he claims would "expose the truth" of what led many individuals to take part in the events of Jan. 6.
Gaetz went on to call the Jan. 6 insurrection a 'fedsurrection.'
A video of an individual taking down fencing at the breach site was shown by Gaetz during his conference. Gaetz claims that some people, because of one individual's actions, may have been naïve and drawn into a place they were not supposed to be.
"Just moments ago, Congresswoman Greene and I went to this specific location outside and we demonstrated how easy it could have been that an individual might have listened to the president's remarks, arrived to the breach site, seen that fencing was removed, and might have been drawn into a place they weren't supposed to be and never intended to be," Gaetz said.
Gaetz then goes on to claim that the individual, addressed by Gaetz as "the fence cutter," is not listed on the FBI's wanted list -- where others who participated in the breach have been listed
During Gaetz's showcase of aggregated videos, he goes on to say that an individual, Ray Epps, incited the events of Jan. 6, ushering much of the blame away from the other individuals involved in the Capitol breach.
