I understand it because I use a missal. Very helpful and explains everything as you move the through the seasons (why priests wear certain colors, etc). I still don’t know the liturgy by heart but every Sunday I’m getting better and better. It was overwhelming at first but now

A book that has the order of the mass and liturgy (prayers, gospel, readings, etc) that are recited during the Mass so you can follow it throughout the year. The one I have is in Latin and English so I can read in Latin and know what I’m reading. The Catholic Church follows a liturgical calendar, so we are all doing the same readings and prayers around the world. This makes the Latin rite especially beautiful.
