Popper had some very insightful and unjustly neglected ideas in philosophy of mind; a usefully corrective but grotesquely one-sided set of ideas in philosophy of science; and some really bad ideas in political philosophy.

This pretty much sums it up. i would add that his ideas on scientific methodology are a very influential part of how our state and federal courts evaluate scientific expert testimony. I was more or less a specialist in this area in my firm in large part because I had read Popper.
