It seems obvious to me that the far-left billionaires' corporate media took Francis's apparent dog whistling apology to be for the "fake graves" even though he seemingly didn't mention the graves.
It appears that Francis does a similar thing on the killing of unborn babies holocaust when he says abortion is like "hir[ing] a hitman" and "praises Italy's leading abortion rights proponent" who is a hitman and by his "blessing [the extremist pro-abortion Joe] Biden's... reciev[ing] Communion."
For me it's almost laughable if it weren't so sad that Catholic establishment media then covers for his Peronist-like "say[ing] one thing and do[ing] another" dog whistling saying he is really really pro-life because he "repeatedly condemns abortion" and then doesn't explain how someone who is really really pro-life can support pro-abortionist political leaders who are "hitmen" who bring about more of the holocaust killing of unborn babies.
The Stream also on this subject reported on the "help[ing] the poor... [as an] elitist, top-down scheme...[that is] like... corporatism (fascism, really)" of Francis's friends the "billionaires and multi-billion-dollar foundations [who] partner... with Francis [and] aren’t spending their own money to help the poor. Instead they seek political and economic power, using the poor as a pretext":
