On the coronavirus crisis, you could not have two more different perspectives than China expert Steven Mosher and One Peter Five publisher Steve Skojec.
Mosher has been against the Communist Chinese-like lockdowns and has constantly said COVID-19 is no where close to being like the Black Plague.
While Skojec has been one of the biggest promoters of totalitarian lockdowns and banning of the Mass because he apparently believes the conspiracy theories that there might be "65 million" to a couple of million deaths due to the coronavirus which pro-abortion eugenicist Michael Savage and space alien believer Alex Jones started pushing in January as well as Bill Gates collaborator Anthony Fauci on the lower prediction which he started pushing weeks ago.
Before getting into why a theory of Mosher may be wrong, I want to say that he is one of the top pro-life leaders in the United States.
When I interviewed him so as to write an article for the San Francisco Faith, some years ago, I found him to be so deeply insightful that I wrote one chapter on him and his pro-life work in my book "Hidden Axis."
The great pro-life leader Fr. Paul Marx and his close colleague Ginny Hitchcock who I am honored to call a friend thought he was and is one of the top pro-life leaders in the world.
That said, I think Mosher's theory that he proposed in a LifeSiteNews article that Wuhan's coronavirus death toll is "20 times higher than [the] official count" is speculation at best.
The reason that I am writing this piece is because in his One Peter Five podcast, yesterday, Skojec linked to Mosher's theory in that LifeSiteNews piece to promote his call to continue banning of the Mass and totalitarian lockdowns for months more because he seems to equate this virus to a type of Black Plague.
Conjecturally, Mosher because there is evidence that many thousands may have died in Wuhan is "suggesting" that those many thousands were "COVID-19 deaths 20 times higher than [the] official count."
This is allowing people like Skojec who want to continue banning the Mass and having lockdowns for months to claim we need the Communist-like lockdowns because see the China expert says that there were many more thousands of deaths due to the virus in Wuhan.
Mosher in the article said there were "perhaps 50,000" deaths due to the coronavirus. This is pure speculation. First, he used the word "perhaps" which shows he knows this is speculation. Moreover, even if there were "50,000" deaths how can he possibly know that those deaths were due to the virus.

The answer is the article presents zero solid evidence that those "perhaps" deaths were caused by coronavirus.

But, just because they lie it doesn't prove those deaths were coronavirus deaths.
Mosher should know that just a few months before these thousands of deaths that there were:
"Thousands of citizens in Wuhan" protesting, but strangely, unlike the Wuhan coronavirus outbreak in which there were many videos supposedly showing a out of control Wuhan pandemic which Alex Jones and Skojec showed earlier in the years, in the summer in the Wuhan protests where there were "[v]ideos and photos of the crowded streets and clashes between the protesters and police [the "[v]ideos and photos" were] censored within hours."

Why did the Communist censors allow videos into the West of the Wuhan outbreak and so totally blackout all the Wuhan protest videos?
Is it possible that there was a real coronavirus outbreak which the Marxist regime flim-flamed its major economic competitors in the West into believing was a new Black Plague that required the shutdown of their economies just as China's economy restarted?
Pointedly, those places that know China best such as Taiwan, South Korea and Hong Kong didn't shutdown their economies while having the most success at containing the coronavirus of any block of countries.
Moreover, where the Communist once had protest movements against their totalitarianism in Hong Kong and Wuhan there are no more protests.
Mr. Mosher as a China expert don't you know that in the Tiananmen Square protests the "death toll 'was 10,000'" and also during the "Tiananmen Square protests, students in Wuhan blocked the Yangtze River Railway and another 4,000 gathered at the railway station."

Why couldn't those thousands of "perhaps 50,000" deaths have been the thousands who protested in the summer Wuhan protests?
The only evidence I have is that it is a historical fact that the Chinese Communist have done it before.
I want to say that much of the above piece is an attempt to connect dots which was greatly assisted by biotech scientist Dr. Ayyaddural Shiva's analysis of many of the global players in this crisis as well as his science analysis of the coronavirus implications.
Dr. Shiva, one of the inventors of email, and I both appear to think that the virus is a normal viral outbreak that happens such as the flu outbreak that killed 80,000 a few years ago that's being promoted as a kind of Black Plague for political and financial purposes.
The Chinese and globalists may have used it (I am speculating, but with some evidence) for four purposes:
- To end specifically protests that were against terrible air pollution which were in my opinion a backhanded attack on the Chinese totalitarianism. Wuhan is maybe its top industrial and financial city that is known since Tiananmen to be anti-totalitarian.
- Possibly to concoct the virus scare to not just stop protests movements against the totalitarian regime and maybe under the cover of the dragonian lockdowns to kill thousands of Wuhan protesters with the coronavirus cover. They are more than capable of doing such things as Tiananmen proves.
- Coincidentally, the Chinese probably top industrial city, Wuhan, is firing up just as its top Western economic competitors have shutdown their economies.
- Finally, it appears that the globalists such as Bill Gates and collaborators like Francis are using it to push socialistic totalitarianism in the West under the guise of saving people from the Black Plague coronavirus. And as a cherry on the top of the whole possible flim-flam, Gates gets to make billions of dollars on his vaccines which are being pushed by his collaborator Fauci.
Pray an Our Father now for the restoration of the Mass and the Church as well as for the Triumph of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
Also, pray an Our Father now for God to give President Trump the grace to do His will in this present crisis.

Mosher IIRC is another East Coast guy and yes, he's taking a guess at Wuhan casualties. But there is NO question that the CCP lies about everything--so it's anybody's guess how many are dead over there.
Skojek is more and more a simple ninny. Perhaps he's overly concerned because he has children he'd like to protect. Perhaps he's just going to conform to The Narrative. On another thread, (St.) Athanasius was quoted to the effect that 'real Christians do not fear death, they despise it.' Hmmmmmm.
