Here is Doctor of the Church St. Francis de Sales' secret to victory "over our enemies" and the "reward" of "eternal happiness":

"St. Joseph is therefore in heaven, body and soul, there is no doubt about that. O how happy we shall be if we can be worthy of having a share in his holy intercession! For nothing will be refused him, neither by Our Lady nor by his glorious Son."

"If we have faith in him he will ensure that we grow in all kinds of virtues... the most loveable virtues of humility, constancy, valor and perseverance, virtues which will makes us victorious over our enemies in this life and earn us the grace to enjoy the rewards which are being prepared in eternal life for those who will imitate the example set by St. Joseph in this life; a reward which will be no less than eternal happiness in which we shall enjoy a clear vision of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
