Fact Check: Pope Francis, Dementia, Sex Abuse and the Media Cover-up

The mainstream Media have been covering-up Pope Francis's involvement in sex abuse cover-ups.

However, the conservative and Catholic media, even the unorthodox liberal supporters of Francis, have reported the papal scandal.

"Imagine if Pope Benedict had so transparently contradicted himself, placed prelates accused of facilitating or perpetrating sexual abuse in positions of power and influence, then went on to condemn his critics for being 'dumb.' The media furor would have far eclipsed what happened after his remarks at Regensburg" according to Onepeterfive.com. Even the extreme leftist National Catholic Reporter said:

"In 2012, Pope Benedict XVI dismissed Fr. Mauro Inzoli, who was accused of abusing dozens of children over a 10-year period. In 2014, Pope Francis reinstated him and required him to live a life of "prayer and penance...On Jan. 21, 2014, after the United Nations hearings, Thomas C. Fox, the publisher of this paper, wrote that Pope Francis "does not understand the full magnitude of the related sex abuse issues, or, if he does, is yet unwilling or incapable of responding to it."[https://www.ncronline.org/news/accountability/strange-disconnect-between-pope-francis-words-and-actions-about-sex-abuse]

"Pope Francis and his cardinal allies have been known to interfere with CDF's judgments on abuse cases. This intervention has become so endemic to the system that cases of priestly abuse in Rome are now known to have two sets of distinctions. The first is guilty or innocent. The second is 'with cardinal friends' or 'without cardinal friends.'...Consider the case of Fr. Mauro Inzoli...Don Mercedes [Inzoli] was "with cardinal friends," we have learned. Cardinal Coccopalmerio and Monsignor Pio Vito Pinto, now dean of the Roman Rota, both intervened on behalf of Inzoli, and Pope Francis returned him to the priestly state in 2014, inviting him to a "a life of humility and prayer." These strictures seem not to have troubled Inzoli too much. In January 2015, Don Mercedes participated in a conference on the family in Lombardy" according to The Week. [http://theweek.com/articles/670249/child-abuse-scandal-coming-pope-francis]

According to Reuter on June 5, 2016, Pope Francis made a "vow"  to "remove pediphile cover-up bishops" with the new church law.

It appears that Francis, if he is true to his vow, may have to resign for his pediphile cover-ups and possibly for being mentally unfit.

The Catholic and conservative media despite reporting the sex abuse scandals, with a few exceptions, seem to be following in the footsteps of the mainstream Media in covering-up the fact that Pope Francis appears to have dementia.

The Media hypocrisy is transparent especially when comparing their continued claims that Ronald Reagan was mentally unfit as contrasted to their cover-up of the signs of Francis's dementia.

On March 30, 2015, The New York Times, 30 years after his presidency, said when "Ronald Reagan became the oldest elected president, his mental state was a political issue. His adversaries often suggested his penchant for contradictory statements, forgetting names and seeming absent-mindedness could be linked to dementia."

Might it be Good for all of us & for Francis to Read about the "Gruesome Death of Arius"?

I have read the letters of your piety , in which you have requested me to make known to you the events of my times relating to myself, and to give an account of that most impious heresy of the Arians , in consequence of which I have endured these sufferings, and also of the manner of the death of Arius . With two out of your three demands I have readily undertaken to comply, and have sent to your Godliness what I wrote to the Monks; from which you will be able to learn my own history as well as that of the heresy . But with respect to the other matter, I mean the death, I debated with myself for a long time, fearing lest any one should suppose that I was exulting in the death of that man. But yet, since a disputation which has taken place among you concerning the heresy , has issued in this question, whether Arius died after previously communicating with the Church ; I therefore was necessarily desirous of giving an account of his death, as thinking that the question woul
