Fernando's father King Alfonso: I'm glad I got you away from your mother with all her rules and morality. I want you to become a man like me.

Fernando: Why?
Knight: Your young uncle the king is dead and Don Alvaro and even you father may attack Castile and your mother because she will be made queen of Castile, soon.
Fernando: Does my father know?
Knight: He would never have let you leave if he knew. He is going to Don Alvaro at this moment and will soon know; I'm sure both will attack your mother's kingdom.
Fernando: Let's fly like the wind. My mother needs my sword!
Fernando enters and knells before Berenguera: My Queen and mother.
Berenguera lifts up Fernando and knells before him: My Lord and son. I've just relinquish my title so you are king. The Cortes just named you king.

Berenquera: Remember that it is Jesus who expels the demons not the exorcist. You main battle to overcome these twin evils will not be with your father or Alvaro. If you wins these wars then your greatest battle is with yourself.

Stop for a moment of silence, ask Jesus Christ what He wants you to do now and next. In this silence remember God, Father, Son and Holy Ghost – Three Divine Persons yet One God, has an ordered universe where you can know truth and falsehood as well as never forget that He wants you to have eternal happiness with Him as his son or daughter by grace.
