Timid "Mass Hysteria" of COVID "Herdist" Catholics vs. The Knightly Catholic Spirit of the Middle Ages

 

As I view the leftist Catholics and so-called conservative Catholics in their herds all wearing their COVID masks and promoting the DeathVax which brands them members of the collective secular herd, I thought of a paragraph in a great book I started reading called "The Menace of the Herd": 

"The great achievements - sanctity, heroism, holy wisdom, the beatific vision - are not eagerly sought for by the herdist who like beasts of the field long to be a [timid] 'secure' animal... Hostile to adventure, which after all was one of the great magnetic [knightly] powers of the Middle Ages, the herdist move cautiously in the broad stream of the mediocre masses avoiding all extremes except those in a frenzied mass hysteria. Yet Christianity is an extreme. The yoke of Christ is not a lesser menace to his meager and miserable personality than the iron postulates of the Cross."

Stop for a moment of silence, ask Jesus Christ what He want you to do next. In this silence remember God, Father, Son and Holy Ghost - Three Divine Persons yet One God, has an ordered universe where you can know truth and falsehood as well as never forget that He wants you to have eternal happiness with Him as his son or daughter by grace. Make this a practice. By doing this you are doing more good than reading anything here or anywhere else on the Internet.
