Philospher Ed Feser showed that Black or White racism is anti-Thomist and anti-Catholic

Philospher Ed Feser showed that Black or White racism is anti-Thomist and anti-Catholic:  Those features that are essential to a thing comprise what Aristotelians call its  substantial form  – the form that makes a thing the kind of substance or thing that it is, its essence. Being round is part of the substantial form or essence of a ball; being blue is not. Being a rational animal is (according to Aristotelians) the essence or substantial form of a human being; having black or white skin is not part of this essence; since someone can be a rational animal , and thus a human being, whatever his skin color. As with actualities, forms come in a kind of hierarchy. There is the substantial form or essence of a thing (e.g. being a rational animal in the case of human beings); there are various properties of a thing that are not part of its essence per se but which necessarily flow from its essence (e.g. having the capacity for humor, which follows from being a rational animal)...

Fisichella said in an interview published Saturday in Corriere della Sera that "if this is one of President Obama's first acts, I have to say, in all due respect, that we're heading quickly toward disappointment." Obama signed an executive order that ended the ban on Friday, reversing the policy of the Bush administration. "This deals a harsh blow not only to us Catholics but to all the people across the world who fight against the slaughter of innocents that is carried out with the abortion," another top official with the Academy for Life, Monsignor Elio Sgreccia, told the ANSA news agency. PJ Media: “As we saw with Apple’s recent move to help the Chinese government silence protesters in China, more and more Americans are becoming aware of how Big Tech is complicit in helping governments infringe on the rights of citizens"

PJ Media reported  “As we saw with Apple’s recent move to help the Chinese government silence protesters in China, more and more Americans are becoming aware of how Big Tech is complicit in helping governments infringe on the rights of citizens": A   new poll  from Convention of States Action and Trafalgar shows that Americans oppose corporations working with the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) to censor protests in China. In a rare result, large majorities of Democrats, Republicans, and Independent voters appear to agree about companies that work with the CCP in this way. Overall, more than three-quarters of voters say they are less likely to do business with a company that does this. “As we saw with Apple’s recent move to help the Chinese government silence protesters in China, more and more Americans are becoming aware of how Big Tech is complicit in helping governments infringe on the rights of citizens,” said Mark Meckler, President of the Convention of States. “When t...
