An abdicated Ministry, according to him that is a spiritual essence and is well aware of it, for these reasons:
1 – because there is a weariness due to the weight of age, both in body and in spirit, for not continuing the same Ministry;
2 – because there are changes required in the faith and in the world agitated by matters of great importance that require a necessary effort.
There would be a coherent justification of Ratzinger's; if, however, he were to declare an abdication to the Munus, instead of the Ministry, for it is contrary to the Universi Dominici Gregis, in Articles 76 and 77. If there were a conscience about this act, then this act would be consistent with this conscience, according to the same Apostolic Constitution. The logic only exists in the Code of Canon Law, Article 412, which mentions a diocese that is totally impeded.

He argues for a communion, that is, continual union in faith and hope in Christ that lights the way, even though there are thick clouds in the sky. This same unity, among the Cardinals and other members of the Church, must be in superior harmony with God. So it is a unity in the faith, among all the members of the Church, and, implied in this same logical line of thought, the Roman Pontiff himself.
A Church that is not based on projects or plans, but only for souls. It is a living reality before it that transforms with the circumstances of the time that develops in life. Although she lives in the world, she does not belong to the world. It is a living ecclesial unity that grows and matures, but remains the same.
Is it a Church, like the Child God that has grown in wisdom and grace, docile and united to the will of the Father, until the final struggle against the most wicked world soon?

Only a few Cardinal Electors and only a few authentic members will be docile to the Holy Spirit to understand all this: a manifest will of God; the "new pope" mentioned in the letter, whose word "pope" does not exist canonically, would only be a being as an instrument with those who are far away in authentic communion in the Church. All this was initiated by an obstacle caused between two figures at the top of this same ecclesial unity. And this same obstacle continues among both clergy and laity. Only the few members remain alive in faith and hope. In this context of the few, the Cardinals "unlocked" the Petrine Munus, which Ratzinger took with him to the grave.
We can conclude some important points about this which proves to be a freedom to the true believers of the Church:
1 – an action to elect a canonically accepted Vicar of Christ;
2 – the continuation in the legitimate succession of St. Peter and of the legitimacy of the Church itself.

Pope Benedict XVI was provoked by a profound cause to make a decision with a necessary consequence to keep the Church alive. All of this, therefore, is summed up by a separation of living and dead members of this Divine Institution. A selective process of a kind of hermeneutic in continuity in the face of apostasy with living members that thus remains alive the Church.
