In 2019, faithful American Catholics speculated that Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò went into hiding because he exposed what he this year he called the "Deep Church" which can parallel the secular Deep State in vile unsavoriness.
When one exposes the dark hidden underbelly of either it's a good idea to not "disclose" your "location" and "lay low."
The respected American Catholic pundit Laramie Hirsch asked these questions about Donald Trump and the Deep State, "Is the president in hiding? Is that why he’s been laying low in recent days? Are Deep State forces seeking to assassinate President Trump?":
