Does Pope Francis Believe in Truth or Power?

Catholic common sense, following St. Thomas Aquinas's philosophy, believes that our senses and reason are reliable. Truth can be known. In Edward Feser's philosophy blog a commenter named Rank Sophist argued against truth saying that Eastern philosophy believes that the senses and logic "lie." Reality, truth and reason in Eastern Philosophy are "Maya" which means they are ultimately total illusion. The sophist made me laugh. Why is the dummy bothering to write (sense of sight) and agrue (logical presentation) if the guy believes the senses and reason are illusion? Washington Insiders & Allies from Wall Street Journal to CNN Big Lie Coup Attempt on Trump

President Donald Trump and the very foundations of American democracy appear to be the victims of what seems to be a coup attempt by Washington insiders. As Roseanne Barr said the attack on Trump is "really a disguised attack on American voters." Rush Limbaugh, today, on his show said: "These people know there isn't any evidence of this, but that doesn't matter. What everyone in Washington supports is the smearing, the slander, the libel of Donald Trump. And these hearings today? The FBI director James Comey, is...trying to save the careers of a lot of people - his included - in, I think, an inappropriate way." Limbaugh for most of the show showed that there is "no evidence" for the false "narrative" that there was collision between Trump and the Russians. Rush said Comey and the Washington insiders appear to be threatening impeachment using the false narrative that he showed over and over again has no evidence. It is propaga
