Rosary.Novena to Our Lady of Victory Oct. 27th - Nov. 4th

Rosary.Novena to Our Lady of Victory Oct. 27th - Nov. 4th

Pro-Life [Republican] Victory in the Nov, 4th election CAN be attained through the intercession of Our Blessed Mother! The Rosary, of course, is the primary choice here. Even 'ONE HAIL MARY' is very powerful!

Let us each MIRA unite our Decade toward this VITAL effort:

A Call for a Rosary Novena By Fr. John Corapi

Among the most important titles we have in the Catholic Church for the Blessed Virgin Mary are Our Lady of Victory and Our Lady of the Rosary. These titles can be traced back to one of the most decisive times in the history of the world and Christendom.

The Battle of Lepanto took place on October 7 (date of feast of Our Lady of Rosary), 1571. This proved to be the most crucial battle for the Christian forces against the radical Muslim navy of Turkey.

Pope Pius V led a procession around St. Peter's Square in Vatican City praying the Rosary. He showed true pastoral leadership in recognizing the danger posed to Christendom by the radical Muslim forces, and in using the means necessary to defeat it.

Spiritual battles require spiritual weapons, and this more than anything was a battle that had its origins in the spiritual order - a true battle between good and evil.

Today we have a similar spiritual battle in progress - a battle between the forces of good and evil, light and darkness, truth and lies, life and death. If we do not soon stop the genocide of abortion in the United States, we shall run the course of all those that prove by their actions that they are enemies of God - total collapse, economic, social, and national.

The moral demise of a nation results in the ultimate demise of a nation. God is not a disinterested spectator to the affairs of man.

Life begins at conception. This is an unalterable formal teaching of the Catholic Church. If you do not accept this you are a heretic in plain English. A single abortion is homicide. The more than 48,000,000 abortions since Roe v. Wade in the United States constitute genocide by definition. The group singled out for death - unwanted, unborn children.

No other issue, not all other issues taken together, can constitute a proportionate reason for voting for candidates that intend to preserve and defend this holocaust of innocent human life that is abortion.

I strongly urge every one of you to make a Novena and pray the Rosary to Our Lady of Victory between October 27th and Election Day, November 4th .

Pray that God's will be done and the most innocent and utterly vulnerable of our brothers and sisters will be protected from this barbaric and grossly sinful blight on society that is abortion. No woman, and no man, has the right to choose to murder an innocent human being.

May God grant us the wisdom, knowledge, understanding, and counsel to form our conscience in accordance with authentic Catholic teaching, and then vote that well-formed Catholic conscience.

Fr. John Corapi

In a message dated 10/16/2008 11:56:28 PM Pacific Daylight Time, writes:

As the US Election Day approaches rapidly, again the esoteric figure of Our Lady of Guadalupe is again smack bang in the middle of a campaign, just like in the year 2000. (Who can ever forget the Supreme Court deciding the victory on December 12, her feast day!)

Let us implore the Empress of the Americas that her touch will be felt again, when the murder of the unborn remains so out of control.

There is a book titled "Liberalism is a Sin" - first published in 1899 [!] by Fr. Felix y Salvany (book has been translated from the original Spanish and is available, formerly at least ['ve had it for 25 yrs.] from TAN books). Following are 3 quotes:

"Liberalism is the root of heresy, the tree of evil in whose branches the harpies of infidelity find ample shelter; it is today the evil of all evils."
"Liberalism propagates immorality, and immorality Liberalism."
Liberalism..."is, therefore, the radical and universal denial of all divine truth and Christian dogma, the primal type of all heresy, and the supreme rebellion against the authority of God and His Church. As with Lucifer, its maxim is, 'I will not serve.' "

NEWS HEADLINE: DFW Bishops- Voting for Pro-choice Candidates is "Morally Impermissible"

The spiritual warfare between good and evil is becoming more physically manifest!

It is of paramount importance that NOT Obama/Biden, but McCain/Palin be elected. The following resource list is a simple way to emphasize that this is not just my position, but that of the Church:

Breaking News: Catholic Bishop Rene Henry Gracida confirms that a Catholic cannot vote for Obama in good conscience. sent by certified mail to all U.S. Bishops:

"Abortion is a crime of aggression not only against the unborn, but also against society" -- Pope Benedict XVI

NEWS HEADLINE: DFW Bishops- Voting for Pro-choice Candidates is "Morally Impermissible"

"At this point, the Democratic Party risks transforming itself definitively into a 'party of death'...
"Archbishop Burke Laments "Party of Death," ZENIT, 9/2/08

"Indeed, a nation that condemns to abortion our beautiful and blameless unborn babies betrays itself as morally, ethically and politically untrustworthy and disinclined to give due care and attention to the poorest and weakest members of our society."

We should be sure to seek prayerful help for a favorable [REPUBLICAN] election outcome - we are engaged in no less than Spiritual Warfare.

St John Chrysostom [9/13]: "God governs the world, but prayer governs God."

2 Chronicles 7:14 --
If my people, which are called by My name shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from Heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

Stop those who would take God out of our country and our government.
Raise up good men to lead and protect us.
We can stop Barack Obama the spiritual way - by calling on our God to save us from the deception that charismatic preaching is using to lead many on the wrong path.

Invite God's power rest upon us and give us victory.
This battle is His, but we must call on Him without ceasing and unite our voices and hearts in prayer and fasting.

We can be confident of the power of prayer in this cause.

Novena Prayer to St. Jude for his intercession for seemingly hopeless and impossible situations
(say once each day for nine days or nine times in one day)

Most holy Apostle St. Jude faithful servant and friend of Jesus, the Church honors and invokes you universally as the Patron of hopeless cases, of things almost despaired of.
Pray for me, I am so helpless and alone.
Make use I implore you of that particular privilege given to you to bring visible and speedy help where help is almost despaired of.
Come to my assistance in this great need that I may receive the consolation and help of heaven in all my necessities, tribulations and sufferings particularly (here make your request) and that I may praise God with you and all the elect forever.

I promise O blessed St. Jude to be ever mindful of this great favor, to always honor you as my special and powerful patron and to gratefully encourage devotion to you. Amen.

Additionally, let us seek the intercession of ST. THOMAS MORE,

VOTE FOR LIFE.................McCAIN/PALIN + REPUBLICAN Candidates for all offices.

Please pray (especially the Holy Rosary and/or other prayers) and fast (preferably on bread &water, and/or other sacrifices) on the upcoming Presidential Election Day, Tuesday, November 4th 2008, with the intention that the most Pro-life Presidential Candidate be elected as the next President of the United States.

Remember, the next President may be choosing the next Supreme Court Justices who in turn will decide if abortion (baby-killing) is legal.

Do it not just for the unborn, but for your family also, so that our country will not be further chastised by God through war and other punishments because of abortion.

"For a Pro-Life outcome of the November 4th election, which is most pleasing to Almighty God and which best serves the eternal and temporal interests of all of His children."

"Ever-faithful God, we consecrate the 2008 U.S. presidential election and our entire nation to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, Our Loving Mother, Patroness and Protectress of the Americas.

We ask that You take our Nation into Your Loving Care, reach into the hearts of the electorate, and give them the strength and enlightenment to know your Will, and to exercise Your Will in their vote. Abba, Father, Thy Will Be Done!"

Just as our forefathers did in founding this great nation, we declare that we are one nation under God, and recognize that under God’s care we remain. At this crucial time of transition, please join your fellow Americans in lifting our eyes, our hearts and our prayers to our Heavenly Father, pleading for His mercy.

Subject: "This Will Kill Us"
by Fr. Tom Euteneuer, Human Rights International
October 03, 2008

More is at stake than just the economy in this presidential election season. In fact, the manufactured economic woes of our country are in some ways a smokescreen to keep our minds off the weightier moral issues that are not being talked about to any significant degree or in any depth. There real issues upon which our future as a nation depends are the life issues!...

PROLIFE BLOG: THE LIFE ISSUES – Abortion, infanticide and euthanasia.

McCain is Pro-life. He opposes abortion on demand. He knows that a human being's life begins at conception. He will appoint judges who will respect the right to life as stated in the Declaration of Independence. He will appoint judges who will respect the rights of the people.

Obama is pro-abortion. He supports abortion on demand through the entire nine months of pregnancy. He opposes any laws that would restrict abortion in any way. He supports a federal law to wipe out all of the state restrictions and parental consent laws passed throughout the U.S. He will appoint judges who will enshrine abortion into the constitution. He wants universal health care including abortion paid for by taxpayer dollars.

McCain supports the traditional definition of marriage as the union of one man and one woman. He voted for the Defense of Marriage Act and supports states enacting protection for marriage. He opposes redefining marriage to include homosexual unions.

Obama voted against the Defense of Marriage Act. He wants to repeal it. He supports same sex marriage and opposes the right of the people to define marriage as being between a man and a woman.

McCain believes in parental rights to control and direct the education of one's children without the interference of the state. McCain believes in school choice - in vouchers, in charter schools - and in those innovative ways to allow parents the freedom and opportunity to obtain for their children the best education possible. He wants to change the status quo and allow especially poor and working class families greater accessibility to good schooling.

Obama opposes school choice. He wants government schools to have the control. He opposes any efforts by parents to direct and control their children's education. The teacher's union and the government are to be in charge. He was a part of a radical effort to indoctrinate children in the public schools with his buddy Bill Ayers. He opposes tax credits, tuition vouchers or anything that would expand opportunities.

So on the values issues, there is only one candidate who truly cares about the family, marriage, children. His name is John McCain.

"Now is not the time to be faint of heart. We must encourage others to get out the vote for the one man who will stand up and defend life".
– John McCain. AMERICAN

"Human rights are not a privilege conferred by government. They are every human being's entitlement by virtue of his humanity. The right to life does not depend, and must not be declared, to be contingent on the pleasure of anyone else, not even a parent or a sovereign."

Mother Teresa of Calcutta also said that "the fruits of abortion are nuclear war."

What We Really Need is a Moral Bail Out
by Deacon Keith Fournier, 10 October 2008§ion=Cathcom

When a society fails to recognize that persons are more important than things it soon devolves into a form of practical materialism, worshipping a new golden calf....

I suggest that the financial collapse is simply the sordid fruit of the greed and the idolatry which has elevated the accumulation of stuff over persons...

There is a relentless war on the womb in America and ironically, some who oppose the current war effort in Iraq are its greatest proponents. They are what I like to call "Abortion Hawks", seeking to expand the field of battle and fund this evil war effort with tax payer money...

The consumer is told they have a "right" to select [babies], design them, and reject them, at will. The "medical professional", who knows that the one being killed as he or she reaches into the womb is in fact a human person, responds to this consumer driven approach to birth and hides behind the constitutionally protected "right" to kill the child ...

There can be no enduring lasting solidarity in a culture that kills its own children and then calls it a "right". This is a moral crisis...

FR. WEST'S CATHOLIC BLOG: More Than 100 Reasons to Vote Against Barack Obama

"You can ask economic questions, foreign policy questions, fiscal questions et cetera; [and these] will bubble to the surface because that's what the media are mainly paying attention to; but if you look underneath that, especially where a community looks at itself to be religiously serious - which is a majority of Americans - the thing that cuts most deeply is the culture of life questions."
-- Fr. Richard Neuhaus, editor-in-chief of First Things Magazine

FATHER CORAPI: Education, Faith &America

"In the United States of America we have over sixty million Catholics. If these Catholic citizens knew their faith and then voted and lived their faith, this country would be incalculably better off. In turn, so would the entire world.

" is outright frightening how many Catholics think they can vote for a pro-abortion candidate. ...this is not possible. Abortion is the overridingly most important moral issue of our times, all others being important, but rendered irrelevant if the preeminent right—the right to life—is destroyed..."

"Catholics would 'commit moral evil' by voting for a candidate who supports abortion and other intrinsically evil things. Voting is a moral act, and voting for pro-choice candidates is evil in itself... No amount of rationalization can escape this logical and moral conclusion..."

"Pope John Paul II stated many times, "abortion is murder." ...if a single abortion is murder, then 48,000,000 (the approximate number of abortions in this country since Roe v. Wade) of them is genocide. What would be the "proportionate reason" supporting such an outrage? There is none..."

"Could a Catholic in good conscience vote for a candidate who supports legalized abortion when there is a choice of another candidate who does not support abortion or any other intrinsically evil policy? Could a voter's preference for the candidate's positions on the pursuit of peace, economic policies benefiting the poor, support for universal health care, a more just immigration policy, etc. overcome a candidate's support for legalized abortion? In such a case, the Catholic voter must ask and answer the question: What could possibly be a proportionate reason for the more than 45 million children killed by abortion in the past 35 years? Personally, we cannot conceive of such a proportionate reason."
-- Joint Letter by Archbishop Joseph F. Naumann of Kansas City and Bishop Robert W. Finn of Kansas City-St. Joseph

EXCERPT: Catholic means pro-life by Father Thomas D. Williams

Some people think that when Catholics compare abortion to slavery or to Nazi anti-Semitism they are engaging in hyperbole. They couldn't be more wrong. Abortion is not only the greatest social injustice of our century; it is arguably the greatest social injustice of all time.

Abortion circumscribes an entire class of human beings (the unborn) as non-citizens, excluded from the basic rights and protections accorded to all other human beings. In this way abortion mimics the great moral tragedies of all time, which always began with the denigration of an entire class of people as unworthy of life or freedom.

"Humanity today offers us a truly alarming spectacle," wrote Pope John Paul in his 1995 encyclical letter Evangelium Vitae, "if we consider not only how extensively attacks on life are spreading but also their unheard of numerical proportion." The legal, systematic elimination of the most vulnerable members of society is the most heinous crime known to man. To fail to oppose it is to make oneself complicit in it.

Can't Be Right by Fr. Frank Pavone National Director, Priests for Life

An honest look at what an abortion is, and at how many victims it claims, is enough to reveal that nothing outweighs its gravity among the many "life issues." Multiple Church documents have confirmed this insight, repeating over and over that the abortion tragedy demands urgent attention and priority.

While some have tried, shamelessly, to obscure and contradict this teaching, many are quite able to understand and accept it. Yet the truth is even deeper than the statement, "Being wrong on abortion outweighs being right on other issues."

The full truth is, if you are wrong on abortion, you can't be right on other issues.

To permit abortion, but then to cry out for the right to work, housing, education, health care, and so forth, is to say that these other rights belong to some people but not to all. They obviously do not belong to those who were snuffed out by abortion.

Therefore, these rights cannot be human rights, because you have already said that not all humans have a claim on them. This trivializes those other rights and puts them on an obscure and questionable foundation.

If you permit abortion, then, on what basis do you defend the other rights?
Why do we care for the poor?
Because they have a right to food, clothing, and shelter.
But why do they have a right to those things?
Because they have a right to live.
Why are we concerned about unemployment?
Because people have a right to make a living.
Why do they have that right?
Because they have a right to live.

"America needs no words from me to see how your decision in Roe v. Wade has deformed a great nation. The so-called right to abortion has pitted mothers against their children and women against men.... It has portrayed the greatest of gifts -- a child -- as a competitor, an intrusion, and an inconvenience. .."

More from Mother Teresa:

"[Abortion] is really a war against the child, and I hate the killing of the innocent child, murder by the mother herself. And if we accept that the mother can kill even her own child, how can we tell other people not to kill one another?"

ALAN AMES: Appropriateness of receiving the Eucharist by Catholics who support abortion

"...there is one thing absolutely everyone should be able to agree on: We can't reduce abortions by promoting abortion.... No one who sponsors or supports legislation like FOCA [Freedom of Choice Act] can credibly claim to be part of a good-faith discussion on how to reduce abortions."
-- Cardinal Justin Rigali in a letter to Congress concerning the Freedom of Choice Act, which Barack Obama told Planned Parenthood is the first thing he would sign into law if elected president.

"... The FOCA is the most sweeping piece of pro-abortion legislation ever proposed in Congress. It is a bill that would establish a federal "abortion right" broader than Roe v. Wade and, in the words of the National Organization for Women, 'sweep away hundreds of anti-abortion laws [and] policies.'"
-- Douglas Johnson, "Unholy Messaging: Obama's faith-based try vs. his positions," National Review, 10/7/08

Even Pennsylvania — once an Obama state — is now in contest.

McCain now tied with Obama - 47% to 47%.

It has been our contention that it is not the individual instances of Obama's questionable conduct, behavior and past history that disqualifies him from being President - but the cumulative pattern of these inexcusable actions.

Everyone in the media and political circles has been waiting to see when the gloves would be taken off towards Obama, and our ad "Obama's Wrong Values" tv ad has now done that.

The Our Country Deserves Better Committee has already placed TV ad buys totaling several hundred thousand dollars in key swing states, and are expanding the size of this TV ad buy with each day.

Obama's campaign knows they are in trouble if the truth about Barack Obama is presented to the American people. That's exactly what we are doing at the Our Country Deserves Better Committee. [And that's why democrats want people to vote early - before they change their minds].

Continued support needed to get this ad up on the TV airwaves in battleground states all across America. You can contribute $5 to $5,000 to this effort. Please - CONTRIBUTE ONLINE HERE.

In a message dated 10/24/2008, writes:

The Democrats keep trying to blame the Republicans for the economic fiasco created by The Democrat Liberals in Congress during the Clinton years!!! It's so convenient to blame Bush and the Republicans for the economic crisis and the downfall of moral America because they are in the foreground right now, stuck with the mess the liberal Democrats have left them with. We all know it's the Liberal Democrats who block anything and everything that's good for the country, and pass everything that has brought us to ruin. It's time to wake up America!

Obama has a lot of nerve looking back to Bush....he just isn't looking far enough back or he'd have to admit it was Clinton who accelerated this whole mess with the terrorists, the financial crisis and pro-death culture and the Democratic Liberal Congress

"Exorcist Fr. Ripperger is asking everyone to say this Prayer until the Election is Resolved"

A good friend of the Catholic Monitor got this from a group message. She said "exorcist Fr. Chad Ripperger is asking everyone to say this prayer until the election is resolved": Prayer of Command In His Name and by the power of His Cross and Blood, I ask Jesus to bind any evil spirits, forces and powers of the earth, air, fire, or water, of the netherworld and the satanic forces of nature.  By the power of the Holy Spirit and by His authority, I ask Jesus Christ to break any curses, hexes, or spells and send them back to where they came from, if it be His Holy Will.  I beseech Thee Lord Jesus to protect us by pouring Thy Precious Blood on us (my family, etc.), which Thou hast shed for us and I ask Thee to command that any departing spirits leave quietly, without disturbance, and go straight to Thy Cross to dispose of as Thou sees fit.  I ask Thee to bind any demonic interaction, interplay, or communications.  I place N. If Kamala Harris' father is part white and part Jamaican African and her mother is Asian-Indian then is she really Black? tries to figure it out: Kamala Harris, Joe Biden's pick to be the Democratic Party's vice-presidential nominee, is the daughter of an Indian immigrant mother and a Jamaican immigrant father. There is no multiracial or mixed-race category in American law in any jurisdiction. Nor is there an Indian category. So Harris cannot be legally Indian, nor can she b
