To discern is to observe and when I observed the people’s reactions with Prevost, toward my view of presenting ALL THE EVIDENCE that he may in fact be another Francis, I was met with what seems to be a diabolical “joy” of embracing another “thief” and abuser (Stockholm syndrome) or demonic anger that how dare I NOT be okay with abuse (Francis 2.0). “It’s only day one into his papacy; give it a chance”. I only saw a few of my normal sources saying something is “off” with Prevost while my other go to sources were actually saying weird things like Dr. Marshall. Taylor Marshall creepily said “I bend the knee to Pope Leo XIV and I fully submit.” What are we Black Lives Matter? My antennas went up and I happened to see someone comment on Marshall’s behavior in another video saving, “sounded like a hostage video.”
I want to begin to draw my lengthy conclusion with this: when we finally understand what true discernment looks like through what I call “dove eyes” (“My loves eyes are doves”- Canticle of Canticles), we understand how that means we are kind of like that one kid from the Six Sense who sees dead people. Only he can see them and though it’s a really ugly thing he can’t unsee it. With the lens of the Holy Ghost we see everything: the good, bad and the ugly, because truth isn’t necessarily “pretty” but it has to be embraced, and seen. Just like Frodo from TLOR, he saw, and felt, all the ugly of the ring but he still fought to not let it corrupt him or his goodness. I get that it’s easy to want to follow the herd and have a false sense of joy because the truth of a possible anti pope is very unpleasant but that still doesn’t make it untrue. I heard it so hilariously put today how we all have a sort of PTSD (“Pope traumatic stress syndrome”) because yes, we sheep have been “had” way too many times, now.
But I was stunned to find the very “off-putting” reaction of “he’s traditional” without giving it another thought especially those from the Trads proclaiming that Prevost isn’t to be scrutinized. The last time I experienced this weird “disillusion” was with the covid clot shots. We were called Grandma Killers and “selfish” by the “experts” and “thought leaders” for simply… I don’t know… wanting to use our brain and WAIT and see what this was all about before making such a drastic choice of putting an experimental vaccine in our bodies. With Prevost it has been people immediately comparing him to Pope John Paul I, Archbishop Vigano, Pope Benedict, the next Pope Leo XIII and even Pius IX. Wait… so not only are we not allowed to judge his track record but we are already making him a saint? People are “cautiously hopeful” and look down on those who… are the exact opposite. How do I put this mildly? Those who have learned to properly discern, through what I said about the Holy Ghost above with “dove eyes”, know how to decipher the voice of the hireling from the Voice of the Shepherd. It’s as though we have these 3D glasses where we can see when one is just a wolf in sheep’s clothing. You see my friends, Our Lord said that when His sheep don’t INSTANTLY recognize His Voice (that is the Holy Ghost’s gift of Council), the sheep… FLEE. Because they also know that the voice of a stranger (exactly how I view Prevost) is also NOT the Voice of the Shepherd. We often hear how “feelings” in the spiritual life are bad, but before the fall our will governed our senses and were in perfect harmony. We often hear “go with your gut”, but for we Catholics it’s, “go with the Holy Ghost”. It is… actually… important… to NOT ignore how you FEEL. We don’t solely make decisions on our emotions, but again, before the fall, there was no disorder, because our emotions were ordered in our will and we had self control (another gift of the Paraclete). EVERYTHING IS THE HOLY GHOST!
All I am saying here, my fellow Catholics, is that we have to learn to “judge everyone and everything” as Saint Paul said and with Our Lord “don’t judge appearances” (Prevost wearing the papal trad attire) but “judge the JUST JUDGEMENT.” Our Lord never held hands with thieves. He went into the temple, the then synagogue of His then bride, Jerusalem, took out a whip, flipped tables and cast the traffickers out. The New Bride is the Catholic Church, the New Jerusalem, and I assure you that if you think this Husband will sit passively back as another usurper intends to parade around as a “traditional” wolf in sheep’s clothing, you might want to think again. You might find yourself totally and utterly scandalized when the Great Chastisement comes and catches you off guard, predicted by Our Lady of Fatima, and scripture, that “the good as well as the bad” would not be spared, because people chose a comfortable lie over a uncomfortable truth.
Pray an Our Father now for reparation for the sins committed because of Francis’s Amoris Laetitia.
Pray an Our Father now for the restoration of the Church.
Stop for a moment of silence, ask Jesus Christ what He wants you to do now and next. In this silence remember God, Father, Son and Holy Ghost – Three Divine Persons yet One God, has an ordered universe where you can know truth and falsehood as well as never forget that He wants you to have eternal happiness with Him as his son or daughter by grace. Make this a practice. By doing this you are doing more good than reading anything here or anywhere else on the Internet.
