There has been another sighting of the great St. Corbinians Bear in the Catholic Monitor comment section:
Is it possible for someone to be an antipope even though the majority of cardinals claim he is pope? The case of Antipope Anacletus II proves that it is possible for a majority of cardinals to claim a man is pope while he, in reality, is an antipope. In 1130, a majority of cardinals voted for Cardinal Peter Pierleone to be pope. He called himself Anacletus II. He was proclaimed pope and ruled Rome for eight years by vote and consent of a absolute majority of the cardinals despite the fact he was a antipope. In 1130, just prior to the election of antipope Anacletus, a small minority of cardinals elected the real pope: Pope Innocent II. How is this possible? St. Bernard said "the 'sanior pars' (the wiser portion)... declared in favor of Innocent II. By this he probably meant a majority of the cardinal-bishops." (St. Bernard of Clairvaux by Leon Christiani, Page 72) Again, how is this possible when the absolute majority of cardinals voted for A...
It is *good* to see the bear is out of hibernation.
He seems well rested, clear minded - ready for a good meal on his anti-Christian enemies. They best beware The Bear,
Brings back memories to me of an earlier time, at the beginning of this present crisis, when we were all just trying to explain the inexplicable - scattered, confused, perplexed, searching for answers.
And here we all are, in the gathering concensus against this great evil - clarity is growing and the enemy now appears uncertain, desperate, their advance tenuous in the face of the growing resistance, disgust and anger.
Below is the Bear's Independence Day post. For some reason the Bear's blog is not coming up when I google it, so here is his https:

The "Seriously?" Argument for Pope Benedict vs. Bergoglio
By now you have heard many argue Jorge Bergoglio is not the Pope. The idea that Benedict never effectively resigned has built up some steam. Recently, Dr. Edmund Mazza has caused a stir with his theory that the office of Bishop of Rome and Pope can be split--and was--upon the resignation of Pope Benedict.
The Bear was a criminal defense lawyer. He isn't a canon lawyer, can't think like they think, doesn't know the rules, and respects his ignorance of legal specialties. So he just won't get into it, anymore than he would expect to see Dr. Ed Peters defending a DUI, let alone first chair in a death penalty case.
