The authentic Catholic has faith that the succession of St. Peter will have no end, although there is a barrier against that succession today.

Sedevacatism, which is not clearly mentioned above, after Vatican II is ideological; It has nothing to do with faith. Moreover, traditionalism itself, very close to this same sedevacantist mentality, is also ideological. They are two branches of the same origin.
