Cardinal Fernández responds to concerns by abuse survivors about astonishing book....
To "inconvenient" I will refrain from a counter of "incorrigible," choosing to respond instead with "perverted."
I saw your contribution to this: thank you very much.
I confess that I gasped when I saw the word 'inconvenient'.
Even allowing for translation it sounds horribly tone deaf.

St. Paul says of the Gospel to Timothy: "Preach the word, insist in season and in season" (Timothy 2:2). The Holy Gospel is always suitable to be proclaimed, but this same Message must be incarnated in the faithful, in the example of Christ. That is why St. Paul says: "For the time will come when men will no longer endure the sound doctrine of salvation. They will be carried away by their own passions and by the itch to hear novelties, they will set up masters for themselves" (Timothy II 4:3); thus, acknowledging the same Fernández for being his "inconvenient book" for not being in agreement with this context. Therefore, he would show sincere regret about this fact if he went back on his decision to bless same-sex partners who cohabit as a couple as well.
