The fact is that many of us for years have been practicing the Faith in the knowledge that there's not a genuine pope on the Throne of St. Peter (or since January 2022)
But it's not like we're practicing the Faith without the papacy as a constitutive element -- we've turned to the genuine popes who ruled the Church in a way worthy of the sacred office, and are acknowledged as saints in heaven
I've personally turned to Pope St. Pius X.
Canon lawyers can argue about the possibility/impossibility of deposing a heretic 'pope', but in our day to day lives he's already deposed himself, if he was ever pope in the first place
