Pope Francis "Dismantled," "Ceased" & Acted Against "Reforms" that were Removing Sex-Abuse Priests & their Cover-up Bishops Instituted by Pope Benedict

Journalist Hilary White, on January 25, reported that Pope Francis has actively "dismantled," "ceased" and acted against "effective" reforms that were removing sex-abuse priests and their cover-up bishops instituted by Pope Benedict XVI:

"Pope Benedict installed effective  procedural reforms on clerical sexual abuse; Francis... has all but completely dismantled or reversed those changes... Benedict 'had defrocked or suspended more than 800 priests for past sexual abuse between 2009 and 2012'... His reforms specifically included bishops who refused to act against priest-abusers... 'This Pope has removed two or three bishops per month'... These reforms - and removals - have ceased entirely under Francis."

The article, moreover, said Francis acted against the Benedict reforms by firing two members of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith (CDF) who were removing cover-up bishops of sex-abusing priests:

"A tribunal of bishops, requested by his own sex abuse commission, was ignored and then Francis summarily removed two of the CDF staffers handling such cases, famously refusing to give any reason to CDF Cardinal Muller who was soon to be dismissed."

Unsurprisingly, gay activist and Francis enthusiast Fr. Thomas Reese, covering-up for the Pope's actively acting against the Benedict reforms smoke-screened the truth, saying:

"The fundamental problem is that the church has no process for judging bishops that is transparent and has legitimacy with the public."

There was a process for not just judging bishops, but for removing them and it was effectively removing them until Francis "dismantled" it.

At this moment, gay activist Reese's smoke-screen article that Francis has a "blind spot on sex abuse" is number one if one googles: Pope Francis.

Francis, it appears, doesn't have a "blind spot," he is actively allowing sex-abuse priests and their cover-up bishops to continue their crimes by dismantling the Bendict reforms.

Pray a Our Father now that the Dubia Cardinals and Pope Benedict XVI issue the correction.
