"Find the Real. Seek with your Whole Hearts the True, the Beautiful, and the Good."

May, 2008 Dear friends, This month, I would like to share a few thoughts on gratitude. In a time of struggle—which is the situation for all those who seek to follow Jesus wholeheartedly—it is easy to get endlessly distracted and anxious about “survival.” For Christians this can translate into survival for the sake of doing good in the world. The motive is good, but the anxiety is not. Indeed it is a symptom of a flaw in the root of one’s relationship with God as Father. In any event, that is the case with me. The past month, I have been hearing in prayer a gentle but persistent word: “All good things are given from above.” And: “Patience.” Yes, we must work on, often with little promise of success in worldly terms. If we do so, many interior qualities are strengthened, such as patience, perseverance, longsuffering—and even wisdom. One can know this in the mind. But it is not so easy to integrate this knowledge with the deeper movements of the heart and soul. But how does the integratio...

Is the California Supreme Court’s Gay Fascism Evil?

By Fred Martinez Before he died, Pope John Paul II said homosexual marriage and the gay agenda are part of "a new ideology of evil perhaps more insidious and hidden, which attempts to pit human rights against the family and against man." The majority of the California Supreme Court stands for the "new ideology of evil,” which will lead America in stages to become a new Sodom and Gomorrah. As Justice Scalia said against Lawrence v. Texas, the so-called Texas sodomy case: “[It] effectively decrees the end of all moral legislation.” The California Court’s ideology is in direct opposition to the Judeo-Christian God and His Ten Commandments. The other world religions, even the straightforward atheists or sinners are not part of the "new ideology of evil.” Deceptive anti-moral terrorists who are at enmity with God and His moral law are the ideologues. These fakes whose advertising jingle is “tolerance,” will not tolerate tradition morality. They’re only tolerance is unbor...

"The Most Important Thing" to End the Abortion Agenda

By Fred Martinez The Population Research Institute (PRI) has found that Planned Parenthood and the abortion industry are targeting Catholics as well as minorities especially the third world people here and globally according to Ginny Hitchcock, the West Coast Representative of Population Research Institute. On a worldwide basis, with the encouragement of the conservative members of the US Congress, she said that Steve Mosher and PRI are carrying out wide-ranging field research among Catholic populations in the developing world. PRI has found that the International Planned Parenthood Federation’s population control is frequently used to "subdue" Catholic populations at the expense of basic aid and economic development. "We're building on our reputation and relationship with strong pro-life members of Congress, and Catholic leaders abroad, to support human rights and to defend the Catholic faith and the rights of Catholic families throughout the world," PRI Presid...

Poll: Big Shift Among Practicing and Non-Practicing Catholics After Papal Visit -- More Likely to Vote, Better Understand Church Teaching

Poll: Big Shift Among Practicing and Non-Practicing Catholics After Papal Visit -- More Likely to Vote, Better Understand Church Teaching, and Say Trip Met or Exceeded Expectations NEW HAVEN, Conn., May 9 /Christian Newswire/ -- New polling data released today by the Knights of Columbus shows that Pope Benedict XVI's visit to the United States in April produced a sharp jump in the proportion of American Catholics with a more positive view of the pope following his trip. The information released today provides data specifically about Catholics, and is a companion to the analysis released last week about the views of Americans generally. The Marist College Institute for Public Opinion interviewed 1,013 adults nationwide, and the survey results issued today are from an over sample of an additional 502 Catholics nationwide, and are statistically significant at ±4.4%. All polling was done between April 22 and April 29, 2008, immediately following the pope's return to Rome. Of partic...

Can McCain Beat Obama without a Pro-Life VP like Huckabee?

Both evangelicals and Catholics need a long time pro-life VP before they fully back McCain. If he picks someone who is questionable on abortion like Romney, whom most long time pro-lifers distrust, he probably can't win. Fred McCain, Huckabee and the Evangelicals By Robert D. Novak WASHINGTON, D.C. -- John McCain, who has spent the last two months trying to consolidate right-wing support as the Republican candidate for president, has a problem of disputed dimensions with a vital component of the conservative coalition: the evangelicals. The biggest question is whether Mike Huckabee is part of the problem or the solution for McCain. An element of the Christian community is not reconciled to McCain's candidacy but instead regards the prospective presidency of Barack Obama in the nature of a Biblical plague visited upon a sinful people. These militants look at former Baptist preacher Huckabee as "God's candidate" running for president in 2012. Whether they can be wri...

"Perhaps Wikipedia should Change its Name to Pornopedia"

Wikipedia Peddles Porn to Kids WASHINGTON, May 7 /Christian Newswire/ -- It would be a tall order, but parents around the world may want to make every effort to keep their kids away from Wikipedia.com, the enormously popular, user-generated online encyclopedia. While doing homework, research for term papers, or for just plain fun, millions of kids visit Wikipedia every day. That's why parents may be alarmed to learn that, as recently exposed by WorldNetDaily.com, Wikipedia features hundreds, if not thousands, of hardcore pornographic images and online sex videos, making them easily accessible to children. Matt Barber, Policy Director for Cultural Issues with Concerned Women for America (CWA), said, "Perhaps Wikipedia should change its name to Pornopedia. Providing clinical images that may assist people in research is one thing, but many of the images and videos featured by Wikipedia are gratuitous and obscene. They're entirely unnecessary and amount to hardcore pornography...

Do You Long for an End to Abortion in America

Do You Long for an End to Abortion in America And the Sex Scandals in the Church? If you’re like me, your heart aches when you think of the plague of abortion that has hit America over the past 30 years. Added to this are the recent sex scandals in the Church that have shaken our confidence in the clergy and caused us to wonder how this could happen. Well, take heart. There are solutions to these problems. But first, you need to understand the root cause. In my new book, The Hidden Axis of Evil: The Clintons, Sex Abuse, and the Aborting of America, I lay out the three primary reasons why the sex scandals happened and the foundational reasons why abortion in America will remain unless we respond with the Christian conviction that we are all called to put forth. I also show you how the philosophy that guided the Clinton administration laid the groundwork for the loose morality that fuels abortion, sexual permissiveness, the homosexual agenda and an array of societal ills. The Hidden Axis...

How Ending the Abortion Nightmare can make Trump the next Lincoln

-Updated September 10, 2017- Dr. Theresa Burkes’s book on post abortion therapy, "Forbidden Grief: The Unspoken Pain of Abortion," is endorsed by the great enemy of the feminist agenda- Dr. Laura Schessinger. Burkes concurs with Dr. Laura that the Feminist movement has brought us deep psychological problems especially the abortion culture: "If you examine the women's movement you can see that many of the women who laid the groundwork were women traumatized by their own abortions. They believed that legalizing abortion would take away the trauma.” Instead as Dr. Burkes shows they created trauma, which brought us the nightmare culture. She applies psychology to cure this trauma, but says that the abortion-trauma can only be completely healed if one asks for and receives God’s mercy. If the grief of abortion is not healed then the world becomes a Freddy Krueger-like nightmare. Burkes maintains that the horror icons of the United States such as “Freddy Kr...

How to End the Abortion Nightmare

By Fred Martinez Dr. Theresa Burke's latest book on post abortion therapy, Forbidden Grief: The Unspoken Pain of Abortion is endorsed by the great enemy of the feminist agenda, Dr. Laura Schessinger. Burkes concurs with Dr. Laura that the Feminist movement brought us many psychological problems and the trauma culture. She applies psychology to cure this trauma, but says that abortion-trauma can only be completely healed if one asks for and receives God's mercy. Her work shows that if the grief of abortion is not healed then the world can become a Freddy Krueger-like nightmare. Q. Dr. Burkes, what effect did the Feminist movement have in bringing about the trauma culture? A. If you examine the women's movement you can see that many of the women who laid the groundwork were women traumatized by their own abortions. They believed that legalizing abortion would take away the trauma. But even offered in the most pristine and legal hospitals - abortion can only destroy. Q. What h...

Does the ACLU Support Sex Abuse?

Does the ACLU Support Sex Abuse? ACLU and Nambla: A Match Made In Hell Posted on June 17, 2005 Crossposted With Permission From Merri Musings NAMBLA states that they are on an important, historic mission. They state that their mission is simple. Abolition of age of consent laws that classify sex with children as rape. NAMBLA is the North American Man/Boy Love Association. Charles Jaynes, 25, reportedly viewed the group’s web site shortly before the killing of Jeffrey Curley, a 10 year old boy, slain in 1997. Jaynes also had in his possession some of NAMBLA’s publications. Also convicted in the killing was 24 year old Salvatore Sicari. Sicari, convicted of first degree murder, is serving a life sentence without the possibility of parole. Jaynes’ second degree murder and kidnapping convictions enable him to seek parole within the next 20 years. Was this a case of misunderstanding? Does this fit with NAMBLA’s philosophy of man/boy love that is non violent? Hardly. Prosecutors said Jaynes ...

ACLU Defends Group that Advocates Sex Abuse

http://www.boston.com/news/local/articles/2008/04/24/parents_of_slain_boy_drop_lawsuit_against_nambla/?p1=email_to _a_friend Parents of slain boy drop lawsuit against NAMBLA Witness incompetent to testify, judge rules By Jonathan Saltzman Globe Staff April 24, 2008 The parents of Jeffrey Curley, the 10-year-old Cambridge boy raped and smothered by two men who lured him into a car, have dropped their federal lawsuit against a group that advocates sex between men and boys, which the parents contended had incited their son's 1997 murder. Lawyers for Robert and Barbara Curley filed papers Tuesday in US District Court in Boston ending their wrongful death and civil rights lawsuit against the North American Man/Boy Love Association and 18 reputed members after almost eight years of litigation. Robert Curley said his lawyer recently told him that the plaintiffs had only one witness prepared to testify that the association somehow spurred Charles Jaynes, one of the boy's convicted kill...

Sex Abuse Wars

By Fred Martinez The mother of all battles in the sex abuse wars was set for June 13-15, 2002 when the U.S. bishops were to meet in Dallas to enact measures to end the Catholic Church's sex scandal. The media war had already begun, with Time magazine, in its Time Life Building at Rockefeller Center in New York City, looking down on its opponents, led by the Catholic World Report magazine (CWR), located in a small building in the enemy's heartland, San Francisco. Time fired the first shot with its May 20 article "Inside the Church's Closet: Gay priests talk about their hidden lives, love of the church and fear of being scapegoated in the sex scandals." CWR shot back with its May issue piece, "Attitudes That Must Die: If the American bishops do not know how to respond to a public scandal, the laity must lead the way." Time, in its alliance with the gay movement and Voice of the Faithful(VOTF), did a pre-emptive attack on what it called one of "the few...

What do Al Franken and VOTF have in Common?

By Fred Martinez “[Radio host Al] Franken also imitated a priest giving Communion, saying "Body of Christ" when an imagined pedophile priest was in line but "not for you" when pro-choice politicians came up,” according to Michael Goodwin of the New York Daily News. [http://www.nydailynews.com/news/col/story/192671p-166266c.html] This Franken mockery of the Eucharist on Air America radio proves he is an idiot and possibly an anti-Catholic bigot. This ridicule reminds one of the Nazi propaganda that mocked the most sacred religious Jewish customs. The Jewish religion holds God’s very name in the highest respect and reverence. The radio host, who claims to be Jewish, in the introduction of his new book Lies And the Lying Liars has a disrespectful mock conservation with the Holy One of the Old Testament. Here‘s an sample Franken‘s mockery:“’TOTAL BULL____,’ God said. ’ START BY ATTACKING THEM. HE’S [former CBS reporter Bernard Goldberg who wrote a book about liberal bia...

What is the San Francisco VOTF’s Real Agenda?

By Fred Martinez The pro-gay San Francisco Chronicle recently printed an article about a controversial “Catholic” organization including an email address and phone number on how to get in contact with the group, which the newspaper described as not being “fringe.” The group is Voice of the Faithful (VOTF) that is opposed nationally by Faithful Voice. Spokeswoman for Faithful Voice, Carol McKinley claims the organization is “profoundly” deceptive. “VOTF is controversial as a result of the profound deception of the individuals in leadership and teaching positions. While they deny their affiliation with Call to Action, VOTF's founding members Jan Leary, Fr. Walter Cuenin and others are keynote speakers at the Spring Call to Action Conference, right along with Joanna Manning of "Catholics for Free Choice", an abortion advocacy group,” McKinley said. “In VOTFs meetings with the Bishops, they purport they are "centrist" on the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church.
