Concerning usury, the very nature of money has changed, not the actual teaching. Now interest automatically devalues your currency if you don’t invest it. Before money was not printed, and if you lent on interest, you are robbing others. Now you have to get interest on bank deposits to not be robbed.

Err, I mean inflation, not interest. You can’t print gold coins whenever you please. So no inflation.. Hence then it would be usurious.
